hell naw. but for that i recomend using free love mod and turn on roommate romance(make sure to marry him AFTER turning it on) and for the krobus child textures use shadow babies mod.
No - Krobus' original dialogue indicates this is more of a housemate relationship than a romantic relationship. I am not exactly sure how a human can develop a romantic relationship with a shadow being anyway.
As far as I can tell no Krobus mod that affects relationships have been updated to 1.6 yet.
Will there be a compatability with 1.6? I was so excited to get this mod but never really got a chance to experience it because the update came out and I still have not collected 60 artifacts to get the sewer key😂
My understanding is that Content Patcher would automatically update any CP mod to the latest version but I have no idea whether Content Patcher 2.0 still does this or not. BTW you don't need to unlock Krobus to install this mod.
HELLO THERE!~ I was wondering if you have to use the Krobus dialogue marriage mod alongside the main dialogue mod if you just want to stay roommates with him? I don't want to marry Krobus, but I still want him as a roommate. If I use both, will I still be able to stay platonic roommates with him or can I just use the regular dialogue mod? Thank you! :)
You technically can't marry Krobus - I only say "Marriage Dialogue" because that's what his post-roommate dialogue is called. You can't have kids with Krobus anyway and I don't think he even sleeps!
Please note that Canon-Friendly Stardew Valley Dialogue Expansion is not working but it seems that SMAPI is still loading it so this mod should be working fine. Let me know of any issues! So far I only tested the main pack not the marriage one.
Is there any chance this mods is messing some of Krobus's behaviours in-game? I've had him as a "roomate" for over a year, talking to him daily, with 14 Hearts, and he's still never gifted me his Stardrop in all this time. Those should be taken even with a full inventory so I'm prety sure the even hasnt triggered yet...
Idk if it's the same, but I was unable to claim stardrops from the statue in the secret forest without dropping something, It might be the same with other Sdrop situations.
hello slr. im korean and i love krobus but there is no mods about krobus with translated by korean.so i decided to translate mods about krobus as much as possible. would give me a permission to me?
he says the same thing every time i go to talk to him if hes in his room :( its always the line about how he hopes the humidity doesnt bother me. are there supposedly to be more voice lines?
The way dialogue is coded in SDV makes it only possible to have one line for the spouse room. I can look into other options for dialogue but I am afraid that Krobus' dialogue coding is still restricted compared to other partners. You can change it in the content file manually. Just make a backup copy of your dialogue in case I need to update.
Hi! this expansion looks great. I have a quick question before I get this: do you actually mean marriage, with the mermaid pendant like for the human bachelors and bachelorettes, or do you mean the roommates option that already exists in-game? Thanks!
This is simply a dialogue mod, it doesn't change Krobus' status after he moves in with you. I prefer not to mess with the original lore too much. You may want to try a mod like Krobus Relationship Changes and see if there's any conflicts. Keeping this mod simple I think is the way to go since I only have to make an occasional update for immersive purposes rather than technical reasons.
