v3.0 is up with new ship builder icons. You can keep the vanilla gear values, or use the Upgraded that increases all landing thrust based on the Size and Number of thrusters.
I'm using all of your Rotated mods but I have one question. Would it be possible for you to create an AIO version which would install as one ESM? The recent updates from BGS that no longer requires the use of plugins.txt has made previous load orders in excess of 110 mods unstable and often unusable. Consolidating family mods like your Rotated or Star UI, for instance, would help users recover the limited index space and perhaps make Starfield more stable than it is currently due to the index/%# of mods loaded. Thanks again for your excellent mods!
That is the port landing gear. I didn’t change those at all. I copied them into a new SMOD completely.
Is it possible something is on a slightly different snap point on another part of the ship? Try moving the landing gear out, and moving it back in to see if it goes green.
Some of the rotated structural parts from my mods and others have added snap points on rotations that are slightly off due to the height-width ratio being different. Vertical parts are based on 3.5m height whereas horizontal are based on an 8m length/width. It makes lining things up very difficult when rotating a horizontal part vertically.
I just created a new ship and used those specific landing gear without issue.
I tried moving it in and out several times (like crazy to be honest) without any change. I'm not sure if it even really affects anything as I can still confirm the build. I don't have any other mods affecting landing gear and no mods affecting structural parts at the moment, so snap points should be all vanilla and I don't see any misalignment either.
That is interesting. I double checked everything last night and again this morning both in CK and in game and didn’t have that issue. They always showed as green unless they were above or below the docking bay.
Hm. I guess it might be some weird vanilla issue, although it does seem just cosmetic in the editor so far. I think I did encounter a potential issue tied to the mod though. When I added another one of that type of gear via copying and having it in the slot between the two green ones on the left of the screenshot, I used Z to change it to the version with the two flat sides. I think there was a back facing rotation from your mod between that at first but when I then reached the one I wanted I lost control over the editor controls. I could not move or click anything. The game itself was not frozen and pressing escape would still play the little button animation in the bottom right but I effectively soft locked and had to kill the process.
I did not try to reproduce it that way (if it even is reproducible) and instead copied the gear and pulled it out of the snapping spot after restarting the game.
hope5 landing gear loses its snapping points when rotated , they become lose , the problem is defintaly snap point dissapearance in certain orienbtaion , its snnaps hunky dory , the next moment its loose. Thats a easy bug to repeat.
I found that with the vanilla game, sometimes selecting a ship part and just hitting rotate will cause it to go red. It is usually fixed when I cancel and reselect the part.
It can also be caused from part overlap. The building overlap tolerance is quite small in vanilla unless you use console to increase it.
I was not able to reproduce issues with either the hope 5 or the Acculander gear.
Will download the upgraded thrust when I get home. I look forward to the day if you decide too that is, to port and starboard rotations on Hope 5. I have a ship that is partially inspired by the Rino Beetle. It needs more bug feet 😆
There are rotations of all of them now, including port and stbd of the Hope 5. The only ones that were not rotated were the Hope 55 (The big ones that rotate) and the Deimos 220cb (The small rotating ones)
Hopefully not an annoying request, but would you mind adding a bit more Thrust rating to the rotated Hope 5 landing gears?
I'm using this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/10392 to give them 4 (up from 1, which is stupidly low IMO) but the rating doesn't apply to the rotated versions your mod provides.
Great mod in any case, it has helped me spruce up several of my ships!
I am go through them and make a second version that gives 1 thrust rating for each of the thrusters on the part. For instance, 4 on the hope 5, 6 on the Deimos, ect.

I went ahead and redid the packin, SMOD, and SMS. I also changed the build menu organization s little with it as well.
Let me know if the issue persists.

This!
I'm using the same mod and it's a life saver for us ship builders :)
