Always wanted Vladimir's home as mine but maybe it's best if those pillows are removed by you. But maybe you should just make your other mod a requirement? I ask because I couldn't just remove them and although I personally have no issue removing them through the console but that could be dangerous territory if one doesn't know what they are doing and also aren't very careful. Thoughts?
Also, I see the Outpost beacon you added but when i go into build mode I can't build anything in that newly added area, says the area is restricted. I can build just fine where Vladimir's house is and immediately around the property but not in the new area you added via the beacon. Maybe that new area isn't meant to be built on but is only used to mark Vlad's place as your outpost which is fine. So if that's the case that leaves us with the pillows to address.
I'm currently working on 1.1 version, to manually remove more miscellaneous items, and trying to make the villa and the landing area as one outpost, so you might assign a crew to the villa. I'll also test the building problem, in my last version I could build a lot of stuff but not the industrial lights.
Just tested the outpost building function, you are right, it's weird, when I don't have any material on me I can place equipment on the ground, only lack of materials, but when I have materials on me, the area is restricted. I guess manually placed outpost beacon won't work, just a marker, you have to actually build a beacon to make it work. Working on the pillow, BTW.
That's just it, I tried that before i posted and it won't allow me to add a Crew Station. Sounds like you're making progress, in the mean time I'm tracking your mod, thanks.
Can confirm that building an outpost beacon within a location is prevented by the game's mechnism, I'm working my way around it. Thank you for your support.
I thought since the discription said there was an outpost beacon that it would be an actual outpost. sadly it's not. cannot send my companions to the villa so i'm deleting it again. If you ARE looking for a player home mod, this is the one. i tested it, works perfectly fine. if this is what you're looking for, you found it right here G
The outpost beacon only marks the landing area as an outpost, when build a crew station you can assign a crew member to the landing area, but the villa is marked as a home, you can't assign a crew member to a home, that's the game mechnism. I'm working on 1.1 version to mark the entire area as an outpost, so you might assign a crew to the villa.
Just tested, the manually placed outpost beacon doesn't work, when I have materials on me then the area is restricted to build anything. I'll rephrase the description.
