Got the save file to work. I see it is Soldier with only the Wanted trait. Weirdly, I only see a handful of powers here, and none leveled up to the max level... I've been trying to manually work my way through NG+10, and I'm up to NG+5 (or 6?) and one of my powers is stuck at level 3 (Vlad won't give me the last temple). Seems bugged. I'm really struggling with wasting so much of my time getting this to work, replaying old saves, etc... I just want to max this out, so I don't have to worry about resetting all of my progress in the future. I want to start playing all of the side quests already...
At this point, I would pay someone to send me a working Xbox save file with a specific background/traits, all powers unlocked and up to level 10 (NG+10), where achievements will work. Maybe I can try converting a Steam save or something.
I really appreciate you getting back to me! Thankfully, someone was able to help me out with my issue. Im at NG+10 with max powers. Vlad kept holding back a temple on me, not letting me upgrade a specific power. It was driving me crazy and I’m so happy it’s sorted out
I just wanted to say thanks for posting this. I was able to get a save backup for a different gamepass game working thanks to what you wrote. The key was only renaming the container file from my backup to match with the directory in the current game folder and then copying over the backup save and leaving the existing save in the current directory. This is what you already stated, but for some reason it didn't click the first time I read it. Several hours later, I re-read what you wrote and I finally got it.
Gamepass saves are located in C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Packages\BethesdaSoftworks.ProjectGold_<numbers>\SystemAppData\wgs\<bunch of numbers> - this final folder is all of your saves. Back this up somewhere first!
After backing up your current save(s), delete them from the 'wgs' folder and extract the contents of the files provided here into the wgs folder. If you copy this in without replacing the container file, it will not work - transversely if you replace the container file that was previously there it will break your current saves. I am unsure how to combine them so backing up your saves is the safest and least technical bet.
When you launch the game it will ask you whether you want to use local or cloud data; select local to load new save file. When you go to the load menu you should find this save.
Hint: If you cannot find your Appdata folder, it may be hidden - try hitting WIN + R and then typing %appdata% to open this folder.
Meaning no disrespect on these topics, but how would one even begin to access the xbox game consoles file drive, let alone edit, or alter where this is stored?
i have tried to follow all the comments but i cant seem to get the saves to pop up in game, is there a way i can fix this? i have tried renaming the folder to what my original was, ive tried replacing the save files with mine, and im still stuck. tia

Before starting the game disconnect internet to make sure the save game not sync with the XBOX SERVER ENJOY :)
Thank you so much for the more thorough walkthrough, im not the most savvy when it comes to this stuff, but i knew with the wgs folder posted, someone with more knowledge could come through and give the information to make it work properly. Appreciate you :)
You can reconnect internet after game launch , make a quick save ,close the game relauch if you want to make it sync with xbox server , to play on xbox or Cloud gaming with a save.
sorry how to replay main quest in new game plus 10?when i talk to sarah there's no option to choose to replay or skip the main quest..she just said i need to go see vladimir..then when when talking to vladimir, he just give all the artifact location
i some how got it to work all i did was copy the saves from inside your folders and put them in to my saved folders i didnt replace my original annd i changed your container folder numbers to what mine was yours is container.2 mine was .1
so basically i took all of the files from the folders with the largest size and put them into my saved folders i already had and you habe to use your original containers.index file for it to work if you switch to his itll sync and not work
Did you have to delete you own save files in your folders before doing that? All I get is the save files being called Unknown and they get called corrupted so it won't load.
No, don't delete your own save files. I moved the CONTENTS of one of his save files into the CONTENTS of one of my save folders, minus the containers.1 or containers.2, keep the one in your save.
scratch the container thing. Tried one with keeping my container and it didn't show up. I'm gonna try one with his container.# fileand see if it works, though as posted before, something about syncing might not work, so disconnect from internet before loading..
