I had to comment since the mod author said 'mid end', actually started the day off with a smile, almost a laugh.
If you're running a 1070, you're giving no Fs about your frames. I applaud you sir /cheers

yeah imagine those with sense who didn't pony up 100s more for incremental benefit, mid range went from 250 to 600 in what 3 years sheesh. This game looks great, at times, but for the most part looks like FO4 does at high/ultra, same controller buttons for run, jump, holster etc as FO4 too.

and what should i call it? best settings for low end graphics cards? These boards were released as mid end, it has nothing to do with them being outdated nowadays, go study the basics so you don't talk nonsense, xhol.

You can get a 3070 for around 300 dollars, and a 3060 ti for less than $250. That's midrange, and it'll hardly break the bank.

And yeah, 1070 is definitely low-end now. Even a 1080 ti is less than $200, and that's probably the weakest card you could still reasonably consider mid-tier.

I"m also getting this issue with lipsync getting off sometimes and I installed on an NVMe drive and have 64 GB\RAM so no pagefile issues.

En el panel de control de Nvidia bloquea el juego a 30 FPS y no hay desincronización.

Hi, sorry for the dumb question but would you mind ELI5 to me what the difference is between modifying the StarfieldPrefs.ini and the individual settings (like low.ini, ultra.ini) are different?

    Thanks so much!

Downloaded this as soon as I saw it, haha nice I'll give this a good shot, currently the GPU is the weakest link of my computer, 1070 8gb Zotac Mini.

Other specs are a SSD, 32gb memory, and Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor, so as far as I'm concerned GPU is bottleneck.

Currently I'm getting better frames in CP77, so I'll give this a test :)

[Update] Ok yep, I'm in Akila city and it doesnt go below 30fps, I even tried spinning and looking at as much as I could see, the game didn't dip for a moment, and the distant objects look crisp. One of the biggest problems I had earlier was pixilation on distant objects, but thats gone. If I run into anything major, I'll edit again, but this feels smooth bruv!

You can. There is a setting in msi afterburner.

Go to settings, make sure "Show On-Screen Display on Captured screenshots and videos" checked

then go to screen capture tab, bind keys and change folder to whatever you want.

It works only if you take Screenshots with afterburner

      Weird. Mine is working correctly.

Did you take screenshot with the right keybind? Not the print screen.

Also if you take pictures with photo mode in the game it sends it to your load screen pictures.

I have a 1660 GTX Super and I am having freezes, The sound cuts out and NPCs stand as a deer in the headlights for 15-20 seconds when you talk to them. Heads just appear and bodies slowly render as you walk up. I am also using a 50-inch flat screen for a monitor so that was my next try... moving to a smaller screen.

do you have the game installed on an ssd or hdd? if it is on an hdd you will definitely have that problem as the game REQUIRES it to be installed on an ssd.

SSD plug into the USD port. Smaller TV helped. going from 50 inches to 27 inches. I still have some freezes and sound cuts. Weird like 8-bit shadows. IDK lol 2TB card with 587GB free on it.

No way. I'm using GTX 1080 and at 1440p, fps is in the tank. I used another optimization config and best i can get is 30 in open areas, and close to 40 in caves and buildings.
