Recomandations. The modification is intended for those playing with the game's graphics settings at MEDIUM or higher... I also recommend testing my modification > Starfield Performance BOOST With which you will gain 5%-15% performance for any graphics settings!
Especially for HQWorld-Starfield I added a new Anisotropic Filtering setting in the StarfieldCustom.ini file! [Display] fMaxAnisotropy=16 Please add it for yourself! You will gain better quality of all diagonal textures in the game, without any performance cost! Originally this setting in the game has a maximum parameter of 4.
Just a note: for Game Pass version of the game, the folder for Texture mods IS also Documents\My Games\Starfield\Data\Textures , for anyone confused by only mentioning "Steam" on the description.
Endorsed This mod! I love that it feels like Original but improved variety on landscapes, different colors, some planets feel more alien of varied colors on ground, Perfect for starfield and new Sand update made just everything even better
Now I'm working on update the modification HQ World (Starfield). The update will be for 62 SAND textures, it will take a few days, because I'm reworking each texture by manually to make each one unique in the game world...
This is so neat, the textures being the same resolution means there's no performance difference nor more VRAM usage and you still do have better visuals, truly a godsent mod. Thanks!

Thanks for really making them with more details, instead of simply using AI to upscale it up, increase the VRAM usage a lot, without making the textures look better and/or more realistic.
yes, because the compression used is not old, but is intended to improve the quality of the textures. You don't have to look at them, just install them.

I am facing an issue, after adding this line in the starfieldcustom.ini file
fMaxAnisotropy=16
under Display it is causing a lot of shimmering and artifacts, I removed it and now it works fine again, any idea?
I pasted all your mod files in the same location as others /Documents/MyGames/Starfied/Data/Textures/Landscape.
Thanks!
UPDATE: Cleared shader cache and pipeline cache. Working Fine for now. Please mention this in your installation guide.
Works perfectly and no fps loss.
P.S. nice screenshoot's ;)
No fps hits
Instantly endorsed
Great mod
Starfield ground is terrible
will you add like ships, interiors etc textures in the future ?
U can see more detail in my new DISCORD...
