For those looking for steady irong signt without the laser red dot affecting where bullets land, try Hawkmoon Patch by hellblazer228, it also comes with new magazine modifications and other QoL improvements. Go check it out!
3rd person aiming uses a laser red dot instead of your corsshair. Firing rapidly and moving will move the dot left and right, and the dot is where your bullet will land similar to MagShot.
Holo dot iron sight can be hard to spot in well-lit environment, especially under daylight in the wild. Use the two glow dots and the front sightpost to acquire the target in that case.
Holo dot will vanish when aiming at objects too far away. This is because the holo dot is implemented using the laser sight mechanics on MagShot, which has a distance limit on the dot particle.
Aim and reload sound effects are reused from MagShot. Surprisingly, changing them would require reverse engineering the new animation system in Starfield and that's something too out of scope for this mod.
XBox Release The mod is also avaliable on Starfield Creation. The version 1.01 is to fix a texture issue on XBox, otherwise it's identical to nexus version 1.0
You can change the sound, but you will need CK and WWise. There are several tutorials on YouTube about this, or just ask in starfield modding discord.
If you simply want to make the gunshot louder or more quiet, you actually need to adjust the master volume not sfx volume, as I accidentally assigned the wrong audio bus...
ì've been looking for a good revolver or pistol and lucky i stumble upon this. And by the way I also just finish tweaking the esm by removing and adding a few keywords to make the weapon more accurate in 3rd person and 1st person without the red dot. It still retain the magshot property and animation but with Regulator buffed accuracy and ADS. lmk if you want to test it out yourself how it perform with my fix and i'll send you the esm file
This mod is really great, but the laser red dot when aiming (both 3rd person and 1st person iron sight) is really hard to use with my hardware and screen settings, especially when using the time pause power which makes screen more bright and blurred. Would you consider making some improvements in the future?
Super dope mod! I was wondering, since you're one of the few people making destiny related mods in starfield, if you would be open to making a Vex Mythoclast mod next? It's a classic weapon and I feel like it fit's perfectly in this game. Anyways awesome work and will be looking forward to more destiny content from you in the future!
What an awesome mod! I wonder if you'd be interested in doing The Last Word, next? Hopefully so, I love D2's Exotic Handcannons too much, lmao. Best of luck to you :)
You mean maybe a graviton lance??? Jade rabbit? Randys Throwing Knife (edit: I remembered after posting that RTK is a Scout Rifle. *wink wink) would be funny and feels lore/adjacent at least. I highly support Warlock's mods. I had a big problem with D2, I was obsesssed

One small issue - if you are using an xbox controller on PC, there is no rumble when the gun is fired.
Otherwise, perfection :)
