will our armillary work at this site? inside cell...Everything about this mod is imho is perfect. I am turning it into my main outpost. I don,t have lighting issues and decorating it is going to be very satisfying. so Armillary, if I cant get it inside, it can go outside and ill just build an exterior domed outpost over the site and build out there. and the interior cell remains my home for my companions and myself. I would have prefered to build the armillary inside as its seemingly easiest to protect there I would imagine, but it wont go inside. this location is so beautiful that I am hoping, wishing,...lol... that you continue in this vein. We are pretty sure at this point whatever you come up with for yourself is what we will enjoy also....
Not sure if this was asked already, but the sole storage, in the (in my game) main bedroom, doesn't allow me to use anything inside for my crafting area I set up in another room. I'd LOVE for this to work, since I absolutely love what you've done with this place! I'm definitely sticking around, don't get me wrong. I have a rather large ship that can also hold items for crafting, and that part of it works just fine.
Also, perhaps a "placeable" storage with the same aesthetic? Would love to separate aid from resources, and misc "collections" from... whatever else. That's just me. I hope I don't sound nitpicky, and if I do, my apologies. Just want to see this expanded, as it's a gorgeous place!
Do you have any plans to add a furnished version (ideally here and Creations)? Also, wondering if you intend to add another cell for the sealed door in the concealed section? I'm sure other creators would love to collaborate on decorating, as well as incorporating a quest into this. Great job so far. Looking forward to seeing how this develops
Mate i love the mod but i found that when i make a power source reactor solar or whatever it makes but will not create a shortcut link to module. please do not take this as a complaint this mod is truely amazing and you are very gifted. any help in advance would be great but not a problem. tia
Thanks for your feedback. There are some limitations of making a custom location an outpost in the Creation Kit. Cargo links definitely do NOT work, and crew assignment is NOT) yet possible (at least in a way I am able to confirm works). I am not sure about power, but I will look into it to try and determine if this is a limitation of the type of this kind of outpost mod, or its specific to this mod and whether a fix can be applied.
I installed 1.21 and the lighting is much better and balanced. I like your mod very much. I see you are continuing to work on it. You are talented in your presentation of in game graphics in your mod. Cheers.
This is absolutely amazing. It should have been in the vanilla game. Entering Moonhenge gave me more the feeling of being close to resolving the mystery of the Builders of the temples than the actual temples in the vanilla game. Exploring the hidden areas I expected even to find some secret chamber with the Builders in cryosleep capsules or something. This is the kind of exploration we need. I hope Bethesda gets inspired by it for a new DLC. Will there be an update that opens up more secret areas?
Thanks for such an enthusiastic and encouraging comment on the mod. It's great to hear your experience was tuned to some of the sensibilities I put into its creation. I think in all fairness to the developers, it is much easier to build work on their foundations (without any of the pressures and practicalities of creating a massive, complex game) after having played and thought about the game and its ideas for sustained period.
Having said that, there is definitely more they can do wit hthe Starborn in the game world, and I look forward to seeing what a well-resourced, experience team comes up with if they go in that direction for dlc (rather than one guy, trying to make sense of the Creation Kit without any documentation, can come up with tinkering on weekends!).
I hadn’t originally planned to add any further areas to the mod, but it is a helpful suggestion and these things can sometimes grow on you.
Many thanks for taking the time to do this; once again it is a helpful and much appreciated act of support for the mod, but also a pleasant and entertaining watch in itself. Good that you found the lighting improved. There is still some more I can do on this, but I wanted to get an update out reasonably soon for folks have a lot of trouble with the glare and won't be able to access my PC for couple of weeks, so hopefully it is enough for the time being. I am glad you tracked down the secret tunnel. The thought did cross my mind of making something of the "stargate" like construction in the temple, but for a first mod release I thought it best to keep it fairly simple with elements I was confident I could make work well.
