UPDATE: Hello, first off thank you for all the support and bug reports to help me become a better creator!
I am excited and thrilled to say that my tool kit has expanded and knowledge gained for better and more refined things. Still a constant learning curve but growing is a part of life.
I do have updates planned regarding textures and colorizations. As well as collissions and ANIMATIONS (which took a majority of my time the past few weeks)
I am excited for what the future of Antares brings and what I can contribute to the community nerd-gasm.
As well as im setting up a support website for suggestions and bug reports as to consolidate my response times for everyone across the avenues of distribution. Thank you for your support and patience!!!!!!
I love the designs but having problems with snap points, doesn't seem to want to snap to anything. Not sure if its other mod related or if the pieces only snap to other sections?
They seem to only snap to the front of habs or am I missing something.
In v1.1 there is a minor bug with the big wing: When u build it and turn it with [Z] then you cannot attach anything to the edge of the wing. But the standard wing, not turned, there I was able to attach something. So the attachment point is bugged when you flip it. Tried it with both wing versions.
There seems to be an incompatibility issue with ship builder categories (and any mod that makes use of it). Your custom tab gets overwritten if loaded before and you lose all but the base categories if loaded after. There also seems to be an issue with the wide wing’s equipment snap, stbd mounts weapons backwards and the port doesn’t seem to work. Nice looking parts though, looks great with a Phobos based cockpit
Thank you!! Yes I believe of a Category_* issue I had earlier but it should be working in a lower priority now that I cleaned it with xEdit. If a type of issue persists I will definitely headhunt it.
that is not a good idea to put the versioning in the esm naming. Like it was said before everytime you update and you change the naming, it will destroy the instance of the part used previously; meaning you destroy people's ships. I am going to recommend that people not use this mod until you fix your esm naming or freeze it as it is.
Next time, it would be better to talk over the basics like this on the Modding discord so you don't run into issues like this.
EDIT; hmm someone else also posted the exact same warning that I had while I was writing this...but yeah...not a good thing to version the esm name
hi mod looks good but has issues on console where parts of the pieces are invisible, the intrinity aeroworks mod had a similar problem and fixed it, might be worth asking how they did it.
Oh dude, hey... gonna stop you here. Don't go changing the ESM file between versions. Just leave it be. If you change the ESM file on folks, it will destroy their ships. You have to maintain a consistent ESM file name.
On the flip side, I do really love the idea of this mod, so I am gonna try out the new parts. I definitely wanna see it succeed here.
