Thanks to our community, Nvidia finally update their driver to support/enable ReBar for Starfield. This guide is no longer needed. Otherwise, for those who already applied this tweak in Nvidia Profile Inspector and get benefit from it. Just leave them be, don't turn off or touch anything. Or you will turn ReBar off completely. All you need is update your GPU driver.
Okay, I had to update my mobo bios and my vbios. Now, I think I borked something. My GPU just shuts off randomly during gameplay (star and others) and even shut down when I was chatting with the lads.
Literally. This is a modding website, not a PC troubleshooting forum. When you have an issue related to the mod, come back, until then you're in the wrong place...
It has been reported that the latest NVidia drivers actually are the cause of this. If you google it you will find people commenting on it. I am using 537.58 without any problems.
i9-10900k, 32gb trident z 3600mhz ram, 2tb nvme ssd, 3080ti and still barely get 50-60fps. I got a few mods, but they dont impact the game. some of those mods actually work to make the game run better. but still never get over 60fps. game hovers between 45-60 constantly.
if you have rebar enabled in your AMD settings it will detect it and work did you don't need this mod and I don't think it would work because this is in Nvidia mod so you guys don't have to worry about it
for example if you go to Performance and then the tuning tab in your adrenaline software you will see a resizable bar it's a brain icon and that will be either checked on or off
So I was noticing some stuttering walking around Akila City with the new Nvidia profile, and decided to try reversing things, using profile inspector to turn ReBAR off for Starfield... and now walking around in Akila is totally smooth.
So it may be this mod still has value, in a strange way! I just thought I'd mention this in case others want to try it. My system is very CPU-bound, perhaps that's why.
Almost the same rig, but 5800x. Surprised u were fps in 50s in new Atlantis. the MAST area is really bad with frames for me. Running a mixture of ultra and high at 1440p
After changing BIOS settings, using nvidia inspector to set ReBar active and downloading latest nvidia drivers i now have a very bad texture "compression" or idk. Rocks now look like skyrim low settings. Other textures look compressed too, but not so much. Spent about 2 hours with google, but no answer found. I tried to disable upscaler, disable reshade, clear nvidia cache, change every ingame setting and remove all mods. Still no result even after installing 4K texture pack - landscape looks like potato. I don't know if this cause by Nvidia driver or wrong GPU usage or something. If anyone have any idea - please let me know

Thank you for your supporting!!!
If anyone has problem with shadow, flickering, weird shader, lightning. No performance gain/loss performance.
Go to:
C:\user\*yourname*\AppData\Local\Starfield\
Delete "Pipeline.cache" file and start the game, it will generate a new shader cache.
%localappdata%\Starfield\
Anyone else having this issue?
