This doesn't seem to work for me for some reason. I tried dismissing her and waiting 48 hours. She went back to the lodge. I went to pick her up and her dress is still the normal dark blue. I have made the ini changes that allow mods and I have a lot of other mods that are working. I wonder what it could be.

honestly modding this game is a mess right now, so many different aspects to consider, and I cant really help with such limited info about your setup. What game version do you have? Where are you installing texture mods? There are different ways people have their games and modding setup. Personally, I have the game from steam and so I have my texture mods setup to go into the root game data folder. I can only offer support for the same setup. I dont know about game pass version modding, or why some people are still using the Documents/My Games/Starfield Data folder for installing textures.

Using the latest game version rn on steam. Have the game installed in a steam library outside of program files. Using vortex to install the mod. Am not not using the Documents/My Games/Starfield Data folder for anything. I'm probably doing something wrong lol. When I open the file manger of this mod in Vortex the top folder is the Data folder which seems correct? I assume vortex puts it in the root game directory and merges the mod's data folder with the game's data folder.

Never mind! Fixed it. This was my first texture mod. Didn't realize that I needed this .ini line:
[General]
bEnableMessageOfTheDay=0
That still didn't fix it, but then I read on one of your other mod descriptions that I should delete the existing data folder in Documents/My Games/Starfield and that did the trick!
