Unfortunately, since the August 22, 2024 update, the update in which the REV-8 rover appeared, this mod has stopped working. And the worst thing is that the ships where I had already increased the load capacity with this mod, all of then returned to their normal load capacity.
Hi, great mod. I just had a problem, not sure if it was this mod related or not. I had too much resources in my ship cargo (200000+ mass), which i used the console command on it (bat cargomax). All is good and working. Until I have got arrested for stealing, and got confiscated my few stolen goods, although my resources wasn't stolen, what happened is almost half my cargo wight resources was disappeared (100000+ mass), and it's not even in the stolen items container in the security station. Where have it been? Problem is i have noticed this issue after it happened with many play hours. Can i bring it back? Even with a command
Is there a useful guide? When I play in photo mode with the mouse wheel, I only change the position of the ship, but not the entry I need in the console.
So this only works for the current ship you're piloting or all of them ? I assume it's the first one. So when switching ships do you have to transfer all of your ship cargo back to yourself so it won't get lost ?
I mean, in reality, a 48' cargo container could hold up to what 60k pounds? Loaded on a truck that has a GVW of 80k... 60k sounds about right. What would be ideal is if they applied this to the game directly. You wouldn't need this mod. If each cargo hold was set at 60k, and the cargo hab actually was set to ANY value, you could easily have a solid transport vessel. What's more, I don't understand how the weight of the cargo affects your maneuverability. There is no weight in space, and it isn't near enough mass to generate a gravity field.
>I don't understand how the weight of the cargo affects your maneuverability. There is no weight in space You must expend energy for some time to accelerate mass in space. More mass means you have to expend more energy to accelerate it in the same timeframe. If you expend the same amount of energy to try to accelerate more mass, it will take more time, making maneuvering slower.
What is the major difference between the setav and modav commands? I've been using the original Cargomax.txt file and it works great. Will it be different if I use the new version?
EDIT: Nevermind. Apparently I didn't look far enough in the comments. Question has already been answered. Thanks for the mod. It is great.

So stupid that a 20x20 Conex box holds less than 500lbs. I mean, 900K lbs is a tough much but who cares lol
