About this mod
Alternate Start Starfield is inspired by 'Alternate Start - Live Another Life' for Skyrim. Choose a new start to your Starfield journey.

Alternate Start Starfield changes your character's starting location, gear, and background. There is a unique location for each background. Some characters may start at level 2 due to gaining xp from discovering their starting location. Also, all characters start with no traits giving the player freedom to console command the traits they want.
Intsructions
Download and extract files. Copy the file name of the character background you want to where your Starfield save files are located on your computer. (For windows this is usually under 'C:\Users\USER\Documents\My Games\Starfield\Saves') You should then be able to load your character when launching Starfield. To edit character's appearance, name, and give them traits run the console command 'showlooksmenu player 1'
Note: Fast travel is locked to most locations in game until you return the artifact to Constellation. The setup of this mod allows you to do so in a more background immersive way while keeping all quest lines functional.
All backgrounds and all 4 major factions supported.

CrimsonFleet1 (reject SysDef, level 4 start due to minimal necessary xp gained to reach Key)
CrimsonFleet2 (accept SysDef)
