    This is an old method of patching the starfield.exe to change the hex values to remove the black pillarboxing. I would recommend using the Flawless widescreen fix or using RoseTheFlower's fix as they're new and fix a bunch of stuff.

      According to the web page, Flawless Widescreen does not support Starfield.  I am using this with good results:

    So, I have 21:9  (3840x1600)  Im not very educated on this, but will it work with my ultrawide?  If not, do you think you could do one? PLEASE

      In StarfieldCustom.ini in the [Interface] section, play with the value for fSafeZoneXWide.  I'd start with 1080 to see what you think; I use 960.

      But there are no black bars on 21:9
      I play on that ratio.
