Reportedly still working on latest version of Starfield
0.7 update:
new compression method
0.6 update:
updated 2 maps that weren't updated before
redid all the other maps to make effect smoother
Details: The baked AO maps for crowd NPCs that were in the game seem incomplete. Only two of them had any amount of shading applied to the eyes and the rest had none. I merely went in and painted in AO into all the maps so that there's an appropriate amount of shading around their eyes so they no longer seem to glow. Install: Copy the Data folder to \Documents\My games\Starfield\ and then add the lines [Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 to your StarfieldCustom.ini file, if its not already present
Performance: There should be no performance impact since its just a baked AO map that was already present and applied in the game. With version 0.7 the textures are slightly smaller so maybe marginally better memory usage?
