Could you please add 6400x1440? I'm trying to force the game to play across 3 monitors (27"+24"+24" or 1440p and 2*1080p). In other games I just set the game to windowed, stretch it out and then hide the borders with SRWE but that doesn't work with Starfield.
I know there's Eyefinity but it's limited to the lowest resolution monitor, in other words, I get 1080p on my 27". Yuck! I can stretch the window with SRWE but that makes the game look really wide/stretched out, so I figure if the game is in 6400x1440p single monitor first with this plugin and then I stretch it out with SRWE it should look normal :-)
But it works in other games? So weird. Ill select borderless on other games and upscale to get better resolution. Dont get why it doesnt do the same on starfield
Any chance of there being something that lowers my resolution instead? I have a hunch about something specific and need to lower it further to test it out.
for anyone who wants to go higher than their native monitor resolution (i dont know whats the procedure for amd)
you have to go to your nvdia panel (right click anywhere on your screen and click on nvidia control panel) you have to do this: 1. manage 3d settings 2. make sure you're on global settings 3.on DSR factors,mark every resolutions 4. change the resolution of your monitor to what you want in the display settings, (or still in the nvdia pannel under display, change resolution) 5. lunch the game and enjoy ( :
I just google searched for Starfield.ultrawide.v1.0.zip and dragged it back to the NexusModManage for it to take care of. Start menu and the like are the same, BUT the gameplay is ultrawide screen.
I'm still struggling with 5760x1080. I've tried everything. also the values bBorderless=1 bFull Screen=1 but after starting the game the numbers are back to bBorderless=0 bFull Screen=0. I also tried to enter it in the custom.ini. but then I don't get a choice for the resolutions either.
I use 3x27" monitors and turned them into 1 display with AMD Eyevinity. I've never had any problems in other games.
do this, nobody666777 did this first and I also did it and it worked for me
Thank you so much that actually made it work, if anyone else struggles just put: [Display] sSupportedResolutionsList=2560x1440 In your StarfieldCustom.ini in Documents/my games/starfield and make sure in starfieldprefs.ini it has this set right under display. bBorderless=1 bFull Screen=1 I recommend setting the resolution there under display too, example: iSize H=1440 iSize W=2560iSize W is the first number like 1920 and iSize H is the second like 1080, replace the numbers with your preferred resolution.You can replace 2560x1440 with your favored resolution like this: [Display] sSupportedResolutionsList=1920x1080
I've already tried that too. But despite all this, the image doesn't stretch to 5760x1080. if I enter the data like this. I have the same picture as before. This means that I have the image on the middle monitor and on monitors 2+3 each about 10% of the image, the rest are black bars.

Same here not working. Followed instructions to the letter and tried things myself afterwards. Thanks for the idea though. If it would work it would be great.
What are ya'll pc specs and what game versions are ya'll on? Gamepass or Steam? This isn't any kind of special magic, it should just work. Could be some other settings you have for your pc.
I use a custom resolution of 4k for my desktop on a 1080p tv. I want to play in 1440p but it keeps going windowed. If you set it to 1440p with borderless fullscreen on and go back to the main menu, then back to settings, it's changed back to 4k automatically. I use a steam/goldberg version
seems like your on a pirate version but it still works, but as i said in another comment bBorderless=1 bFull Screen=1 goes in starfieldPrefs.ini not custom.

Good s#*!! Now I'm able to run my game at 3k (sweet spot) and after changing bBorderless=0 + bFullScreen=1 in the StarfieldPrefs file, I gained abt 7-8FPS. Why they didn't add a FUNDAMENTAL setting such as Full Screen in this game is beyond me. Thanks!

I have a ASUS ROG STRIX XG43VQ and can't seem to get it working with Ini file changes myself.

Could I kindly request support for a 5760x1080 resolution?
I haven't been able to confirm if it launches yet, but I appreciate your willingness to help by attempting to solve the issue.
also the values
bBorderless=1
bFull Screen=1
but after starting the game the numbers are back to
bBorderless=0
bFull Screen=0.

Make sure it's under the Display Header.
