None of the commands for weapon damage or armor resistance are working for me. Every other command in the game works, I am following the instructions to the letter in the description, I can't figure out what I am doing wrong.

"...you can't make OP armors with 1000+ resistances (yet)."
Really ??? (I did this specifically for demonstration)

The screenshots show a Mark 1 spacesuit with a resistance of 12,000+ and 20,000+
P.S. Try it on your armor (you can even on clothes) and be surprised (do the same as you added the mod to the weapon) :
      amod 1C5AAD
      amod 1C5AFB
(this can be done with clothes, hats, helmets, spacesuits and jet packs)
P.P.S. One bad thing: on satellites (companions) it doesn't work... Both Sarah and Andrea fall and start screaming after 1-2 hits on them... Sam doesn't scream, but he also falls and groans 🤔

In order to increase the resistance of spacesuits (this works for helmets, hats, jetpacks, and clothes), you need to use the amod command. Create a bat file (call it armor, for example) containing two lines and put it in the game folder (where the file is located Starfield.exe ):
      amod 1C5AAD
      amod 1C5AFB

(this will increase the resistance parameters of your suits/ armor/helmets/jet packs/other things... And yes - you can repeat it many times (or just duplicate these two lines in a bat file for example 10 times (lol, but it works).
For those who prefer a stealth game, there is also amod (increases stealth by 25%)
      amod 2EC4B9
P.S.However, the game will not give you that much resistance (except for physical protection - you will see from your character's statistics that the maximum resistance to the elements will be no more than 85 and only the physical one will be displayed according to the numbers that you will do with these bat files).
P.P.S.  To increase the damage of laser and beam (for example, a pistol and a Varuun rifle) weapons, you need to use another amod (and it can also be repeated many times): amod 12E10E

You are 100% correct and bats with these commands have been uploaded to the nexus dozens of times. Some include both the armor and weapon amod commands in one bat even. What will be nice is when Xedit or CK come out and we can start turning all these bats into comprehensive mods.

I use them in the game: I have all the weapons and all the spacesuits (the spacesuit itself, helmet and jetpack) are legendary, besides I choose the amod for additional armor mods myself. I also know that on the 1st slot of the jetpack you can apply the desired amod from the armor or helmet
      😉

Which is a damn shame since it's the weapon that needs it the most. In some way the Equinox is like the game itself. I WANT to use and love  it - but I can't. It's subpar.

This file is a blessing. I always loved Eon (Lovely design and satisfying reload animation), it often bummed me how there never was an advanced version of it. But this console command lines is a great solution (until the creation kit drops). I just needed to modify the bat file a bit to balance the pistol a bit (and other Refined only weapons).

Defintly endorsing this for this discovery.

Yeah I made the BAT file overpowered to just test the idea and never bothered editing it to be rebalanced lmao. Although I'm absolutely making a random melee weapon deal like 2000 damage in one hit just for fun.

If people want to skip the BAT or alter it, here are some links and tips...not a great tut but it should orient people.

You seem to be set, but for other readers, just FYI

Obtain weapon ID like mentioned on the front page.  'WeaponID'.amod 'WhateverCodesFromTables'

People unfamiliar with the console may need to figure that out with a better guide, I can't really think to describe it at the moment.  Anyways...

The thing with weapons is, all the mods(silencer, long barrel, etc) are PER WEAPON.  I figured this out after reading reddit threads in-depth and they provided the links.

Mods and changing to Advanced(and sometimes beyond):  https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12OlpNQ6BaD9q_7mtzglSm-yXNGeEU6WqhEEVK8gf60g/edit?pli=1#gid=0

Note on improving quality:  I don't know if it's re-rolling from a small pool, but multiple times on the same code for me was met with small variances, not a cumulative effect(eg 51 dmg, then 54, 54, 54, then 52.).  IIRC, above Advanced is "Superior"  but it's been a couple weeks.

I read somewhere someone saying it was cumulative, which is why I mention that.  I'm not sure exactly how that works, or if it is certain items or what.  I'm still fairly early game and am walking through enemies like they're paper bags, so I have not bothered.

The others for the upper section upgrades that change color tier to Legendary/gold with 3 upgrades:

      https://gist.github.com/Chase-san/eed6f6a5b0ac49632b5c49df2755c18e

Despite some of these saying "Helmet" or whatever, some/most/all? can go on other pieces.  I think that's just how they'll roll up randomly in vanilla.

They are strict per-section though.  You can only have one from Section A per item.  A different code will simply replace the old one if both are in the same section.

[weaponID].amod 0028f445 will increase the damage of any weapon indefinitely.
