For anyone who would like to use this mod, but don't have or want to use 'Starfield Hotkeys' and/or 'Console Command Runner (CCR)', and would also rather avoid having to open the console every time to call your ship, for the purpose of immersion (ie. bat CallShipMobile/bat CallShipHere/bat CallShipCheck). Do the following...
Step 1 Install the mod as you normally would, AND ALSO INSTALL the 'bat files' from the OPTIONAL FILES ('CYS - Bat Files' *install instructions are in the archive in 'README!!!.txt' ***make sure you read the README before installing it***)
Step 2 In your StarfieldCustom.ini file, add the following lines:
[Menu] bUseConsole Hotkeys=1(Note: Remove the space between Console and Hotkeys)
Step 3 If you don't already have one, create a file named StarfieldConsole.ini and place it in the same folder as your StarfieldCustom.ini file (ie. Documents\My Games\Starfield), then add the following lines:
F1 - will place the landing zone as soon as the ship returns from the space. (aka Call Your Ship MOBILE) F2 - will place the landing zone as you call it. (aka Call Your Ship HERE) F3 - will do the same as F1 and will also check if the surface is flat enough, or refuse to land there because it's not safe enough. (aka Call Your Ship Here and Check)
Also...you can change F1/F2/F3 to what ever keys you want, BUT MAKE SURE you don't have your desired keys already bound to other functions *double-check your ingame Settings>Bindings to avoid binding conflicts*.
WELL, it doesn't work for me, I've done everything as they say and nothing comes out. It doesn't work with new updates? My keyboard is Spanish, what is the tilde key? ç
If you want to open the console (it’s really handy for different functions), on my Spanish keyboard, it opens with the 'Ñ' key.
If you’re having issues with installation and getting it to work, check out @LisbethSAO's tutorial in the Sticky section. It’s great for those who "want to use this mod but don't have or want to use 'Starfield Hotkeys' and/or 'Console Command Runner (CCR)' and prefer not to open the console every time to call your ship". Just follow the instructions.
If you are or want to use a mod manager with the option to call your ship using keys (like F1, F2, etc.), I’m not sure about Vortex, but with MO2 v dev2.5.3, the folder structure changes a bit. What worked for me was installing all the related mods (like Call your Ship, Starfield Hotkeys, Console Command Runner, Address Library for SFSE Plugins, and Starfield Script Extender) and making sure they’re in the right folders.
Then, just edit the StarfieldCustom.ini and add this:
does calling your ship move the tile barrier? after reaching the tile barrier while exploring a planet, if i call my ship, will i be safe to move on or will i have to get off the surface and land again?
Fantastic mod. Why is this not just in the game from the start? The first time I tried the mod and watched my ship land, my mouth fell open. It just felt like a part of the game, to watch your ship land and pick you up. Such a simple little thing yet adds so much to the feel.

Make sure to swap "%" with "=" in both lines.
Hope this helps! The mod is awesome and totally worth it!
EDIT: Also with the recent/new Starfield Update 1.14.74, hella nice! ♥
