Hi, if it's just the description you can check the effects by doing player.removeperk 002C59D9 and player.addperk 002C59D9. Not sure how things work when it comes to translated versions of the game, I've only tested it in English.
Also: have you tried any other plugin mod? I haven't tested this mod in the latest game version yet, will do so later and report back if anything broke :-)

Tracked and will definitely download after work. Honestly it is worth downloading just for the weight reduction to the armor. Bounty Hunter armor is quite heavy when modded for damage resistance

I also think that's the best part of this perk :p

Weight on Items has it`s UP`s and DOWN`s now on LOW GRAVITY planets having more mass on you, you wont jump that hight.
Now think of not having mass and jump with Gimnastics 4 perk active...

@RockJB I sure would want optional file to reduce 100% weight for JUNK. (books etc) if possible.

I'll reply here so everyone in the other thread isn't notified lol
Not entirely sure 100% reduction would work but I could give it a try. Would RANK 4 be fine?

      Adaptive Frame mass (WIKI) 1.50
Adaptive Frame mass (MOD LvL4) 0.80 should`ve been 0.75 but it`s all good. ( Maybe Hardcapped)

( MAKE SURE you add :BOOKS, BOARD GAMES, APAREL in there too their mass is UNCHANGED ) (I`l write here what i discover more)

      Vanilla                                                                                  1 Adaptive Frame = 1.50 Mass
Weight Lifting Plus (Experimental)                                    1 Adaptive Frame = 0.80 Mass
Weight Lifting Plus (Experimental) +1 Resource Hauler: 1 Adaptive Frame = 0.60 Mass ( Cannot go below that ) ( HardCapped )
Deduction this mod will make you carry 150% more resources.

So to summarize Every item has a BARE MINIMUM MASS that is standard, cannot go Below that.
Weight Lifting Plus (Experimental) +1 Resource Hauler is applied to SHIP CARGO also.

This is easily one of the best mods out there right now. Being over encumbered on every mission when you've maxed out weight lifting and filled up your partner's inventory too is so annoying.

Bravo to you for making this RockJB.

I agree, inventory management is the worst part of this game >:(
I thought of buffing the carrying capacity increase as well but I think the weight reduction hits really hard, especially at 50%, not to mention the combo with the legendary effects!

If you're so inclined, might I suggest SKK Universal Stash (unlimited storage)

Before this mod, i thought weight lifting perk is wasted, because you hit the limit on every average mission with spacers or pirates, if you have 180 mass or 280 mass limit. No big difference. A full armor set already takes up to 40-50 mass from your lifting budget, so 30% stock weight limit is gone without a single gun or any looted ressource/trash.

But this mods addition with reductions is much better and gives the weight lifting perk a much better impact and makes leveling it finally worth it.

Good idea and far better option than simply adding 1000 mass.

Honestly surprised they didn't iterate upon this mechanic very much in this game. They could've let you send items to the ship at any time, mark items for sale, add your companion's carry weight to your own when they join your party, have some way to automatically sell items (like sending a companion/robot/something to sell things for you, or have a "trade compartment" in the ship that auto-sells when you go to a city), etc. etc.
Pretty much the only new things are the ship storage (similar to camp in F76) and these weight reduction legendary effects (at least I think so).
Not sure why they didn't do something similar to this mod since it's a perfect fit for an otherwise very boring skill.
Also, the fact that they made many items completely useless and for the first 10 hours or so you have no idea if it's a crafting item or just junk is criminal. It gets infinetely better with StarUI or other mods that indicate what's trash and what's not, but man, what were they thinking.

I feel the weight mechanics are decen't in the way you have to pick the things with more value/weight ratio like in real life (like if you were going to steal a house or something, you should not be able to carry everything on it with you), so being able to carry 125 kg from the start is already a lot at 1g, but it has some serious problems like some items weight too much (like foods or other things since 0.1 is the lowes value) plus the sell value of some things  is too low even with maxed Commerce trait (I get that you should not be able to sell everything at retail prices, but they set it too low for some of them, of course there are mods for that), also in the lack of vehicles were we could place our lot to later transfer to the ship or if we could pilot the spaceship in planets plus a fuel mechanic or something for both vehicles and even for the jetpacks instead of the current one like you can travel 5km nonstop but doesn't refill unless you carry/find fuel for it, that way if you want to loot a lot then you have to get prepered for it, it also feels weird that we can jump from one side of the universe to the other one from system to system with out ever landing to refill fuel), something like project zomboid (they did perfectly, you can't carry a lot of things even with the biggest backpacks so need of a proper vehicle like big slow trucks for a lot of capacity), but I guess that is too much to ask to Bethesda for now xD maybe for the survival mode/difficulty in the future? instead of the minimal things they did for FO4 .

Anyway I love this mod in the state of the current weight mechanics, I like to have even better characters that the game allows but doing a proper exchange for it (I saved 5 skillpoints, eliminated them with cheats and then installed this mod to feel I "payed" for that improvement). Later I will do the same editing Commerce trait for 40% less from buying and 50% for sell at max trait and also the one that calls the ship after I maxed some skills like Ship Command and one of my crew members has piloting trait (or is known that they are/were pilots like Sarah, Barret, etc.) and also stayed in the ship for immersion, that combined with this mod feels right (we have superhuman powers, so being able to carry 2x than what a pleb human can sounds good for me, even more if you picked the Alien DNA trait).

Thing is, they've been doing the value/weight ratio thing since Morrowind, and haven't changed the formula much in that time.
I feel like they did it better in Fallout 4 since in that game almost everything had a use as a crafting resource, and you had unlimited storage pretty much everywhere due to the settlement system, just pick a spot and make it your base.
In Starfield, they did improve on the system slightly by allowing you to send items to your ship, and sell directly from there as well, but many items are back to the Skyrim style of being just trash/decoration, and even though you can setup an Outpost anywhere, they also have weight limits now, and you're more likely to treat your ship as your base anyway.
I find that the prices and weight of things aren't really off balance in any major way (I've completed a ~100 hour playthrough without mods), but it's very frustrating having to spend a lot of time giving and taking items to your companions, then sending them to the ship, then going around selling it to vendors. Having more carry weight mitigates this since it lowers the need for those trips, but some of the things I said above could be more elegant solutions.
If I were in charge, I'd make it more clear in the UI what's a resource and what's not, increase ship storage overall, allow you to send items to ship any time, add your companion's carry weight to yours, and add a "mark to sell" button, so you can very quickly and easily sell things in the store instead of having to click 50 trillion times to sell all the stuff you get.
None of this is game changing, and aside from the ship storage buff, doesn't even impact balance. It's just QoL stuff that I find baffling they never implemented.

@LeLeon you are WRONG weightlifting is WASTED for you cause you dont play Melee and get STAGGERED non stop.
This mod makes it so that in the end Weapons and resources could be Weightless.

@RockJB I sure would want optional file to reduce 100% weight for JUNK. (books etc) if possible.

I would have to check, I think it's fairly easy for Aid and Throwables, not sure if Misc has an all-encompasing keyword though 🤔
I could make an optional file, which ranks do you think these reductions should go in?

I feel like throwables should be tied to the same rank as weapon weight reduction (since grenades & mines are kinda weapons too). Not totally sure about placement of aid or misc though. Maybe aid should go with resources since they're both consumable items in their own way, which would put misc on tier three with spacesuits.  I was originally thinking that clothes should be tied to suits, but I've never been overencumbered with too many clothes in the game, thus the swap to miscellaneous.

As far as the keyword problem, I think StarUI separates misc up into 'Junk' and 'Treasures' (don't know if that info is actually helpful as I haven't used xedit yet, but thought I'd mention in just in-case it is).

Thanks for letting me know, just updated the mod, as there were some changes to the Activity Tracker records (ie. skill progression).
That being said, if it doesn't work at all it's most likely caused by the My Games folder issue, or your SFSE/Plugins.txt Enabler installs.

Hi again! I just wanted to say I finally found why I couldn't get this mod to work. I didn't notice file extensions were hidden in file explorer so my plugins.txt was ACTUALLY plugins.txt.txt. With that file correctly named the skill descriptions work as well as my other mods that use the enabler. Hope this helps others with any of their troubleshooting problems. Really glad I can use this mod now!
