PSA: SOME MISC ITEMS WILL STILL HAVE WEIGHT.

xEdit is not complete and is still a WIP. This means that not all items are editable or listed in the program at the moment. This mod will continually be updated to remove weight from other junk items as needed.

This makes Delivery Missions a bit weird since they will all say "Deliver 0kg of X to [place]", I'd love an option for the Misc part where it either is like the resources where it's 0.01 or even 0.1 or even maybe just half weight or something to not break the immersion of the Delivery missions. Or even not touching the Delivery Cargo since otherwise there's no point in Cargo Ships.

There is a file here that makes resources .01 weight!

Пфф, до чего докатился нексус. Я даже лайк поставить не могу не задонатив этому сайту...

Latest patch added survival-esque stuff and food/drinks now provide well fed/hydrated buffs. These are as effects on the ingestibles themselves.

And your mod does not have those effect and thus most food/drink does not give the buffs...

    cheers

Sadly for me it doesn't work,i still have my 2 tons worth of resources. I installed it multiple times in multiple ways including manually also it does appear in my plugins txt file both the main file and the 0.01 patch file so to my mind it should work and yes the 0.01 file is loaded both in plugins and in my mod manager's load order AFTER the main file so frankly idk what is going on,the one thing i didn't do was to try the sTestFile method but i think it shouldn't need that anyway but who knows,i may try it just in case.
This game's dumb btw, it incentivizes exploration but limits your mobility and oxigen,it incentivizes crafting and building but makes resources tedious to lug around one at a time,it incentivizes ship building and piloting but building requires hours and tens of perks millions of credits for parts and piloting them also needs perks and is made up of only load screens like the game itself. It feels funny and ironic that everything doable in the game has an builtin ingame thing that literally prevents you from doing said thing.
Luckly modders are yet again jumping in Bugthesda's salvation by doing God's work, thanks for the mods.

EDIT: Seems like i solved it, got rid of the main file since all i wanted were the resources anyway not all the other junk but most importantly the moment i used the sTestFile method it worked and my 2 tons of resources became about 150 kilos. Yes a few of them have the original weight but as the description says that's probably one of the few that just can't be changed.

Conclusion: If all methods fail sTestFile does work. . . . . .yes modding Starfield is weird atm but hey brings back memories from good ol' Oblivion days.

So glad it got sorted and worked!

Once official mod support is out I can take a crack at making everything weightless (as well as starting on other mods finally lol). Thanks for your comment and for trying my mod out!

Can't wait for official mod support and i'm looking forward to your others mods and all the other modders' too. This game will finally become what it probably was meant to be from the start once that happens =))))
Good luck with the future projects btw and again thx for the mods.

Just came to say that this mod will be a permanent fixture in my game. Materials are so heavy and even my -good- ships were getting filled up with them :/
I guess the idea is to not have more than you actually need for crafting purposes but I can't easily keep track of what exactly I need.

Thanks so much for the kind words! I agree with everything you said - it’s just too much of a chore to deal with it.
