I assume you're joking, but in case you're not: Those locations are already there. You have to find and read books that give you the landing zones, then you can visit the landmark and get a snowglobe. That includes the Arch.
These people probably go on YT "Starfield BAD!" videos and screech "Todd lied again! There's nothing to see or do!" and then they walk aimlessly around procedurally generated worlds in NMS...
I really like this and it seems lore-friendly. I'd go so far as to call it a lore fix. Even the Starfield wiki states: "archaeologists and treasure hunters have also turned up preserved artifacts on Earth itself from time to time". Indicating that there should be some sort of prescence on our progenitor than just ruined landmarks. There is also the presence of the old Earth weapons and old Earth artifacts. The lore even explains that old Earth artfifacts are vaulable to collectors. No reason that there shouldn't be scattered facilities and camps on Earth for scavengers.
that is not hiring lol. it's just a page in the game that makes mods easier to find, rather than go to Nexusmods (would rather still come here). I understand there are mods that you can buy now with their "Bethesda Creation Points" but meh, that's not Bethesda giving anyone a job out of the Creations update
Respectfully, either play the game if you enjoy it, or don't play it if you don't. Putting hundreds of hours into games that get constantly complained about is a bit like sitting on the pot while complaining that the room stinks. It's disrespectful and ignorant. Mods absolutely enhance their games, but if they weren't already great games to begin with then nobody would waste that much of their time and effort to mod them, period. They would simply move on to a game they do enjoy like they do everything else. I'm tired of constantly seeing people trash talk the company that makes games that we all love and the reason we are all even here. If it was so easy to make a Bethesda game, then why aren't others doing it?
Our own planet and they were too lazy to put anything much on it in the game. SAD!
Some dev or higher up probably thought it would send a 'message' to look after our planet, thats their excuse for being lazy.
Just watch though im guessing that modders with talent and vision will use this game as a foundation and do amazing things with the game in years to come or sooner, showing that lazy videogame companies/devs have no excuse.
lazy? lol. Have you any idea how much work it would take? Even dedicated games using LIDAR scans and 3d data struggles with making a populated full earth.
If I had been the game dev I would had solved this problem by just blowing up the Earth instead and making it all into an asteroid field. ballsy of BGS to keep it in and let us land on it. you know there are going to be people like you that will complain about it.
truth is that bethesda just chose the wrong timescale and the wrong lore, 300+ years of no atmosphere is not enough to turn the entire earth into a sand, they could've increased the timescale that people been at space, like 5000 years would've been more believable, easy fix but i kinda want the earth restored, eager to see what modders can come up with on this empty land, someone should turn it green with just pure grass and enhance the grass in this game some dead trees perhaps, a wasteland? so many opportunities, was actually quite surprised to see so low amounts of broken structures in this game, while FO4 is rich with broken structures.
The second someone brings up that someone else may be mad, the person that brought it up has lost the argument and the respect of any one that isn't a moron.
Reread my fist comment I never said it should be fully populated it just obviously shouldn't be a desert with barely any POIS. It should have tons of POIS even 7 days to die a far smaller game company can put tons of quality randomly generated or premade POIS around their map's and thats just one example. Technology improves every day and a modder will 100% make Earth better in Starfield one day and prove my point further. And if it's an artistic decision from Bethesda I don't care its a crap decision and pretty much everyone agrees.
The decision is so stupid that my only rational asummption is that some fruitcake at Bethesda thought they were being smart. Even the other planets and frankly the entire game leaves much to be desired. It's as if it's not the same Bethesda. Remember this isn't some indy dev with low budget and hardly any resources. It's supposed to be AAA.
You guys who disagree with me above ^ are just shilling or are bots or perhaps you have just set your standards and expectations extremely low... this is why alot of companies keep getting away with doing the bare minimum and other dumb stuff aswell as poor decisions because people like you guys just accept it as the new norm! They keep doing it, normalising it, just like they have normalised micro-transactions to the younger generation and weak minded.
This whole game lacks vision & the lore sucks maybe the writers or whoever are just stupid? Maybe it's on purpose? The game is obviously a psyop from Microsoft who now owns Bethesda. The game is full of subversive political messages and propaganda and the entire game is just lacking in every department. It's missing alot of Original Bethesda features & charm and it's missed alot of opportunities. Therefore if modders are up to the challenge they are gonna have to fix everything to turn Starfield into the great space game that gamers expected and were hyped for.
Look clearly another alt account, shill or a bot. You've just got involved in this conversation yet you add nothing to it but attempt to take what I said out of context and tell me to Shut the F up. Instead of having an intelligent conversation about the game. You have no point.
To be fair I see what you mean and I did post that quite late and was having a rant about the game and Bethesda. Maybe being a little trolly calling people bots, shills, alts and I know that can come across as obnoxious. But you never know these days with how easy it is.
I just think Bethesda could do better with the amount of workers, resources, time and Microsoft support they now have. Too many defend the big companys! However they do deserve praise when they do something right.
Anyway glad to hear your opinion on it, I don't want to argue with anyone. Thanks.
And apologies to anyone who got the wrong message from me I just want the best for our games that we love and i'm sure you do too. At the end of the day we are all on this page for the improved Earth mod. Peace and goodbye.
How were you able to edit the earth planet data? I tried everything to even make a new Id manually fill in everything same and rewrite form Id and it still didn’t work. I just want to add some fauna to the biomes for my own mod and only way I found to do it is in planet data. Could you help me out with how you were able to edit it with xEdit?
ça aurait été génial si en se posant sur terre on atterrisse sur fallout4(translat)it would have been great if by landing on earth we landed on fallout4

Calm your arrogance and just enjoy the game lol.
