Should I add the .ba2 to the beginning or end of the archive list in the .ini? I currently have: SResourceIndexFileList=Starfield - LODTextures.ba2, Starfield - LODTextures01.ba2, Starfield - LODTextures02.ba2, Starfield - Textures01.ba2, Starfield - Textures02.ba2, Starfield - Textures03.ba2, Starfield - Textures04.ba2, Starfield - Textures05.ba2, Starfield - Textures06.ba2, Starfield - Textures07.ba2, Starfield - Textures08.ba2, Starfield - Textures09.ba2, Starfield - Textures10.ba2, Starfield - Textures11.ba2, Starfield - TexturesPatch.ba2, SFPerformanceTexHalf.ba2
Nice mod! Have you done each texture one by one? I have to resize and convert a bunch of textures for my mod and doing them one at a time is so infuriating
Starfield was always playable for me with my Geoforce RTX 3050 Laptop, but textures would fail to load completely and look like muddy messes. But the 1k version of this mod made the game look great 90% of the time!
Unfortunately, this mod is what is causing a Huge FPS drop when I enter the menu or inventory, my game is at 50-60 FPS but then when I open the menu it goes down to 25 FPS, and stays At 25 FPS all the time after closing Inventory or Menu, I tested all versions and none of Ba2 version works for me, I tried everything and no matter what the textures not load, all the loose files version works but makes my fps lock at 20 in the menus or inventory, if I don't open menu or inventory then my game run without a problem at 50-60 fps.
Interfaces like the pause menu, inventory, and in-game computer screens have different frame rate limits from the game itself. There are mods to adjust this.
The 1K pack improved the performance immensly playing in WQHD on my 3060 RTX laptop GPU with 6GB VRAM. I can barely see any difference. The NPC clothes are pretty much the only thing where I'm able to spot the lower resoultion. Bethesda proved again that they just suck at texture work.
Anyway, thank you very much for this great package.
The 1k pack is a very substantial performance increase and honestly, visually, I can't tell much difference, if any. These are either extremely good or the game isn't loading them for me and I'm insane. Either way, I'm good.
I am curious if an AIO replacement @ 1024, and removing the original, bloated archives all together would be even more performant.
Thank you, true life savior. My game works smoothly than ever. Before I install this mod, texture is all blur for me (3050ti). Now fps is more stable and texture is clear :D

Finaly the items load in my inventory without those 1-2 secs delay/freeze between changing items to compare them.
Thank you!
3060 ti, 8gb vram.... got the 1k loose files, thinking of changing to the ba2v3 one now.
Anyway, thank you very much for this great package.
