Howdy, ma'am! I just installed this and got the red lights. I installed the Hotfix in Data\Textures\ships\shipcommon, but it isn't working. Did I make a mistake when installing. Your note says it will overwrite the .ba2 files if installed correctly, but these are loose files without any .ba2 files, so I'm confused. (I used the 4K version of both.)
Never mind. I found and fixed the problem. I had moved my Data folder from My Games\Starfield to \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Starfield, so that's where I installed the Hotfix. However, I neglected to add [General] bEnableMessageOfTheDay=0 to StarfieldCustom.ini and the game was automatically re-creating the Data folder in My Games\Starfield. Once I disabled MoTD and again removed the Data folder from My Games\Starfield, everything worked as expected.
Leaving this here in case anyone else has the same problem.
Just letting you know that the links for the 2K texture packs are pointing to the 4K texture packs. The 2K texture packs are not accessible it appears.
Hi, first of all thanks for your great work. I only got a small question about the fix, i am using the 4k-2k version's ba2, for the fix should I use the 2k version or the 4k version?
I'm assuming you're working on the Red lights issue? This mod looks awesome but I don't want my lights to be Red so I was just holding off to see if you were going to publish a new version :-)
This might be a vanilla bug, but I didn't notice it last time I was in that area:
Crashed ships seems to still have some lights turned on. I noticed this during Sarah's friendship quest. I should have stopped to test but I was headed to bed already.
I had the same experience. It was just the folder name "Spaceships Redone - 4K BA2-6560-1-0-1699449400" when downloading the 2k version. The BA2 file was still the 2k version. I see in the Author change logs that you updated attributes but the file / folder structure you uploaded likely stayed the same. Not an author so cannot see the backend view... All good otherwise.

I like the red lights too :)
Just letting you know that the links for the 2K texture packs are pointing to the 4K texture packs.
The 2K texture packs are not accessible it appears.
Thank you for making these texture packs.
it's only an error of the file name, the link point to the 2k textures (1gb), but the name of the file is 4k.
and it's ma'am ;)
Crashed ships seems to still have some lights turned on. I noticed this during Sarah's friendship quest. I should have stopped to test but I was headed to bed already.
I do see some small text under the filename on the download pages that says 2k on one and 4k on the other but both lead to the file named 4k.
Is this the loose files or BA2?
Yes it's the BA2 on this download page https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/6560?tab=files&file_id=23193
Update: Wow! I instantly saw the difference.
