The in game setting image link is broken as well as the "use this to change your sensitivity" link trying to get this to work right and having a tough time. Assuming because I'm missing this step. Have the bat files in game folder, and also have the ini provided with the correct lines to the right fov I'm trying to use. But in game the horizontal sens is all messed up.
Hey BubbleFish, here's a version of your mod that uses the SFSE plugin ConsoleCommandRunner, and crucially doesn't require any faffing about with the StarfieldCustom.ini... I didn't want to publish it myself and "steal" any attention to a very good mod you've made. I managed to get a FOMOD installer working for Vortex (no clue how to do it for MO2) for it, too.
Use it if you like, or if you wanna give your blessing for me to publish it as what would be my first-ever mod, feel free, but I have no desire to do that, and you made it.
The FOMOD installer is a bit rough, but it works, installs the main TrueAim file first and then gives an option to select one of the FOVs. I wasn't sure what to put as descriptions so it's a bit of a mess, could use some polish. If you unzip it then use the FOMOD Creation Tool, you can open the folder you unzipped and it'll let you edit it, you just re-zip it (zip, 7z, or rar work too) and it works again.
It was a mini project to see if I could, and I did! Little steps.
Thanks for your mod. I have added your values directly into the StarfieldPrefs.ini and that worked great. But a few things seem to be different for me: I had to put the ADS aim values to 2.5 (you put it to 2.0) to get about 1:1 ratio. (I think it is still a little bit off) I also had to put the Look Sensitivity V to 100% while keeping the Look Sensitivity H at 50% to get a 1:1 ratio there (your guide says 50% in both). Funny enough the ADS sensitivity wasn't affected by this and was just correct 1:1 ratio from the get go.
I believe you have the mod installed incorrectly. I'll make a ccr version to prevent user error. However I'm on vacation this week and I don't have assess to computer. I'll release the ccr version on Sunday this week.
I mean instead of adding your bat files and then let them get loaded with the custom ini I just added the changes they'd do to the StarfieldPrefs.ini manually. I was surprised, that the numbers were so off for me, but in the end I figured which values end up with the desired results, thus I'm not even mad. :)
Thanks for this mod but is there any way to fix the annoying x2 feeling when boosting with jet pack THEN aiming in the air? If you aim before you jump with the jet pack the sensitivity stays the same as when you're on ground it's so weird, thanks

I have tested a lot of ini.
Many of them has no effect in game, like the mouse acceleration.
Therefore i didn't add those lines.
When i figure out how to make a esp to load ini value ill upload a new version.
Link to show what I mean.

Here's the CCR version of it on my Google Drive.

Anyway, cheers, I appreciate what you've made.

Hopefully bethesda will fix it next patch.
or someone make a sfse fix.
This bat method is beyond my ability as the guide requires computer skills, comprehension and knowledge way above the average user.
I'll make a ccp version for easier install.
