Please ensure that installation process was done correctly.
Use Vortex/MO2 or NNM manager to install the mod.
After installation complete ensure that ESMs and BSAs must be in steam Starfield/Data/, not in the documents or somewhere else.
Activate Mod in Game
Just in case check StarfieldCustom.ini which can be found in Documents/My Games/Starfield for sTestFile strings, if you have those, delete them. And put another lines which you can see below.
[+] Oh no, accelerating my ship makes it blow up! WHY!?
[+] My fuel/charge always at zero mark after refueling/recharging! WHYYYY!???
[+] My ship maintenance level stays at zero no matter what! WHYYYYYYYYY!!!???
Answer: a mod conflict. You are using some mod that overwrites necessary records, which Starvival uses and / Or using ship with new non-vanilla parts from Derretech mod like an example or similar mods. Both situations need a compatibility patch.
[+] Can't take off, Can't Undock, Can't Grav Jump despite fully refueled, repaired and recharged ship.
Answer: Do not use any fast travel restriction mods, fast travel tweaks, fast travel commands and etc. with Starvival Spaceship Systems, as this will break fast travel restriction that is already built into the Spaceship Systems. Spaceship Systems has its own version, which is closely tied to ship mechanics. Also don't forget to see OTHER Section.
Spaceships Use Ammo
[+] Shooting any ship weapon leaves lootboxes all over the space, THUS MAKING MY SYSTEM DIE! WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME?
Answer: issue lies in a StarSim (Mining Mod) from the Creation Club. As soon as you enable it, it starts to spawn loot after each shot. Arsenal module and StarSim mod is not compatible at the moment.
[+] My ship weapon doesn't shoot despite buying correct ammo type for it.
Answer: sometimes it is needed to reequip ship weapons in the hangar. Try to remove them and put back.
[+]Spaceship technician doesn't sell ship ammo. How am i suppose to fight heatleeches in space you nincompoop?
Answer: a mod conflict. You are using some mod that overwrites necessary tech vendor container/faction records. You need a compatibility patch.
[+] My automatic weapons/turrents don’t want to fire, despite correct and the sufficient amount of ammunition.
Answer: it is because with enabled ammo consumption, by some BETHESDA REASONS auto turrets/cannons can't recharge themselfs if installed only one copy of them. Just place one or even more and they will work. So in short, with enabled ammo consumption they work only if you have 2+ of them.

[+] I am a pro, highly skilled modder from 1935, know my shite very well. Why despite properly installing your mod, activating it, playing with it some time, everything was fine and dandy, but after 50 years later it started to misbehave randomly.
Answer: one of the common reasons why this happens, not only for Starvival, but for any other mod, is having to many ESMs activated. You need to drastically cut you load order to resolve this issue, othewise other mods will go fubar and brake. More details you can find here
The fame and reputation modules don't seem to be working for me. When I check, they are both at 100, and never change. Any suggestions on what I should look for? I don't know of anything in my load order that could possibly conflict with this custom system.
Hello, i have been using starvival for long and i love it. However i recently came back to starfield and a fresh install, and your immersiveaddon esm require shattered space which i havent. I use Mod Organiser, and whenever i tried to launch starfield, your plugin automaticly disable, which mean i cannot play with it. Is this because i havent the dlc or do you have any solving ?
I sort of stopped playing because of the running/sprinting immersion issue which is not addressed here either. The game still feels like a childish mmorpg the way spriniting is the basic mode of travel in any possible situation, including in cities, shops, ships and in any place where there is no realistic need for it and there is no danger. And there is no real deterrent to do this. The O2 penalty does not offset this in any manner, just makes it jagged - run-stop-run-stop. IKoc are you planning to implement something regarding this aspect? Or is there a mod to address this that is compatible with starvival? I found none last time I searched. I imaginge it can't be hard to disable running in case there is no enemy around?
I’ve thought about that too, but I doubt many players would really enjoy just strolling through the game world. With a keyboard’s on-off digital inputs, you don’t get any of the physical immersion you’d feel in real life. When we walk outside, there’s tactile feedback from our feet and a satisfying sense of fatigue—but a game can’t replicate that. Even if walking granted buffs or extra XP, the boredom and frustration would probably outweigh the reward.
Yeah I agree, it's likely not for everyone. But it could be optional or disabled by default. Similar to "adventure mode" where the space travels are restored to original. I mean if someone finds walking boring he will find restricted space travel boring as well after a time. I mean if there was effort put into restricting "global" travel, its logical to restrict "local" travel as well in some way for something which aims for realism. Also I think that implementing restrictions on running is not complicated at all. I guess this is not ther reason why it is not done.
Just adding my 2-Cents: Personally don't feel there should be a 'Forced' walking Mode, it should be purely by choice. I set my Walk/Run Key to a Side Mouse Button allowing me to Easily switch back and forth. However... when in Town, and safe areas I walk everywhere; it takes longer, but it feels more Realistic. When fighting I'm using Sneak/Running around, or Sneak/Walk when using a Melee attack on someone. However... and this is the main reason I would not wish to be forced to walk; when I am building an Outpost, I'm always running around. Or if I'm moving resources around at an Outpost.
However... I have always wished that games would have more Walk Speeds than Walk, Jog and Sprint. Between Walk and Jog I would have 'Walk with Purpose'. Like when I land in Akila, I'm usally heading for the Tracker's Guild. If I'm going to pick up a Bounty I wouldn't Run, but nor would I take a Casual Stroll. As well... I dislike when I have to follow someone who is walking, and I have to Walk Run Walk to keep up, because there Walk is more like "Walk with Purpose".
"However... and this is the main reason I would not wish to be forced to walk; when I am building an Outpost, I'm always running around. Or if I'm moving resources around at an Outpost." So you are OK with walking in town or outside but wanna run at/in outpost? Interesting... Well but otherwise yeah, that's what I was doing too: manually switching to walk mode everywhere outside battle (including outpost) or outside a gym. But if shouldn't be forced, then realisitc space travels shouldn't either, you can "self-restrict-RP" both. I mean why one but not the other.
I recently got interested in creating a more comfortable walking experience, so I tried the Let’s Walk Together – Movement Speed Overhaul mod—and it’s pretty neat. The mod lets you adjust walking and running speed with the mouse wheel, almost like using an analog stick, so you can fine-tune how fast your character moves. I even tweaked the code so that a simple scroll lets me shift smoothly from a slow walk to a light jog. If I blend this feel with Starvival’s survival mechanics, I think we could build a game loop that rewards “fuel-efficient walking.” For instance, we could tie player.getav speedmult to factors such as whether the player is moving, and then scale oxygen consumption, hunger rate, and self-control drain accordingly. That way, the faster you push yourself, the more resources you burn—encouraging players to pace themselves and walk efficiently.
I had a bit of a problem running Starvival toigether with Constallation v2 (modpack) but on advice of a youtuber i finally got it running. And playing Starfield the first time, i really have a blast.
Only one issue.
Shops are not resetting .. at all. Even after spending 5 days on missions and resting 48h in front of shops in new atlantis, the shop dosnt get any new inventory. So im basicvally really bugging out and needing stull like ressources.
Even console commands ( targeting the vendor, then "resetinventory" dosnt help at all.
I'm unsure of how I came to believe this; but, somehow, I was under the impression that Heat Leeches were caused by Ship Maintenance Damage under 80%. So my first question is: Is this True? And if not... is there a way of preventing Heat Leeches?
I've been infested with them 4 times; the first 2 caught me Off Guard. The third one I 'Thought' I was paying attention. But on the fourth one, I was paying attention, and the Leeches began to Manifest at 98% Maintenance (i.e. Only 2% Damaged).
And... it doesn't seem like I can do anything about Leeches until AFTER they Manifest. And turning off Ship Services is Not an Option; the Leeches are becoming a bit of a Pain, but the Feature is Awesome, and definitely a Must Have!!!
On a Separate Issue: is there any way of making Messages last longer? They pop up for about 1.5 Seconds, and I'm lucky if I can just get the Gist of the Message. I even tried getting a Screen Shot, but wasn't fast enough. :(
FYI - As to Previous issues, I've clocked, at least, 20 Hours with no further issues. I reloaded a previous save, and thus far everything has run perfectly. This Mod really should be a DLC!!!
You need update to a recent version. Malfunction that triggers heatleeches was already tweaked not to be so annoying.

To install the recent version of a mod from Nexus Mods, you'll typically need to use a mod manager like Vortex. First, check for updates within the mod manager, then download the latest version from the mod's page on Nexus Mods. Finally, install the new version, ensuring you remove or disable the old one.
I used Vortex to check for Updates, and it says Mod can be updated to 10.4.6. Now to uninstall the current Mod I believe I have to disable, Save Game, Reload Game, Uninstall, Save Game. And then Install the new version. Does this mean everything I've set up in relation to this mod such as Oxygen Station, Junk Stations, Ammo Chest (for Looted Ship's Ammo), and various Spare Parts, Fuel, etc which I've purchased will be lost. As well, as my Reputation. --OR-- is there a way to preserve these items and settings and such?
Is fatigue restoration based on UT or Local Time. I'm on a planet where one local hour is 8 UT and sleeping just one hour (8 UT) gets me back like 3 fatigue points.
IKoc, do you think it would be feasible to add some kind of spacesuit durability and repair system? I noticed that a new Creation called Jupiter Balance includes something like this.
Thank you so much for the mod. It has saved the game as far as I'm concerned.
I'm experiencing an issue though I can't resolve. When aiming down sight, my screen shakes and the vibration on my controller starts. I noticed that my co2 was being depleted at a crazy rate. So I tweaked the settings and while the co2 doesn't deplete the screen still shakes and my controller too. It's very annoying. Any chance this has happened to anyone else and know of a fix?
It is not an issue, lol. It is self-control feature. When character self-control drops to a certain degree aim starts to shake (simulating shaking hands). The more it drops the more it starts to shake.

Anyone with an idea? Is this a knows bug?

Why, I just can't afford to buy a DLC that I don't want (Or at least not at full price)
Anyway, thank you for the mod.
