Resource Tracker part of the mod, kills Star UI without any conflict messages in Modmanager. Disable the Tracker mod, instantly restores Star UI on reload.
Sorry if I missed it somewhere in the description (I did read it multiple times) but I couldn't find what the 'Resource Tracker' does exactly. Does it track resources I find in my travels or it helps with something else entirely?
If I may suggest some immersion to you. - Only planets you have scanned show in the db. - Minerals show minerals according to your mining/mineral skill level - Organics can only be added after they have been scanned and determined on the ground.
I honestly believe this put exploring and scanning to something more important than it is atm.
I was actually hoping someone would make a mod for the data slates of surveyed planets, so they'd actually show something instead of being blank. but this would work too, gonna give this a try.
Nice mod, thanks. I don't find having an index of available resources all that theme breaking, considering that anywhere you land you'll find at least one abandoned human facility already there. Obviously people have already been there and surveyed the resources.
I still find it hard to believe after 9+ months, Bethesda still hasn't figured out players might appreciate a diary or a bestiary of areas they've visited and could possibly have an issue with remembering, out of the 1000 rocks they've landed on, where the resource you're currently looking for is, without sifting through the starmap one location at a time or going to an external website to look it up.
Starfield is barely scratching the surface of the 'space sim' genre. A standard, more complex space sim, like Elite Dangerous, basically requires the use of 3rd party tools and guides to be playable.
I don't know if it would have been better or worse if Bethesda went the route of creating something more in-depth.
I agree in my first playthrough it was quite maddening to try and find the few extra resources I needed for something, but they would take multiple real (OOG) hours to find... and then when you found a lot you couldn't bring them all back. SO this will definitely be handy!
Well this game didn't even release (initially) with useable maps of cities/settlements, so asking for a comphrensive database of the planets and resources you've found...WHOA, what do you think this is, a big-budget AAA game? :)
There's a paid mod on Creations that does something similar to this mod, and that author mentioned right now there's no way to hide what you haven't discovered. It'll require Bethesda to do some sort of update to the game itself.

This is the only thing that prevent me from installing this mod.
Great job anyway to the modder, this is still a fantastic addition to the game!

is this going to be updated? current version says> No. as it is incompatible with 14.70.
Edit: strangely, even if SF is telling me that this mod it's not comp., when opening an old 'save' this mod still works.
not sure bout 'new game' tho.
