Just to state the obvious, holding shift holds your breath and stops the sway momentarily.

Unfortunately, that doesn't work for reflex and iron sights.

      >>  i could really care less.

      Pedant here.
The correct expression is: "I couldn't care less."
"I could care less" implies that you do care.

is there a way to get this for just reflex sights? the sway makes sense to me for actual scopes, not so much with the reflex or iron sights

That is asking a lot for a Bethesda game.

how so? not a modder, so not the most knowledgable, but i would think it would just be removing the trait of reflex sights that makes them count as scopes, instead of being like iron sights, which have almost no sway

THIS. I cannot find a mod that removes (or heavily reduces) the sway for just reflex and iron sights.

    IMO change ............Player.ModAV 35b ..........to.........Player.SetAV 35b

ModAV command adds or subtracts from the initial value and you can break your game this way. SetAV command sets the value to a certain number.

    Player.SetAV 35b 1=default sway
    Player.SetAV 35b 2=halved sway
    Player.SetAV 35b 3=no sway

And to author....how did you find this and can you find the code to tweak the amount of sway removal when holding SHIFT? I feel no sway at all feels off and would like SHIFT to just lower sway a touch.

this is a console command i used for Fallout 4. many console commands from FO4 work for Starfield as well. as for this "breaking" the game, i think not. i have been using this in FO4 for years without issue and 100+ hours in Starfield has revealed no issues either. if you don't want to use it so be it. you do you. i could care less.

I was just about to comment on this, then I saw your comment.
      The author should pin this

Oh and another thing, with SETav, the game save it, so just one time console and forget about it :)

I keep getting the error that the batch file cant be found or opened. Is it because i got the pc gamepass version?

      Put it in StarfieldCustom.ini, sStarting+Console+Command=Player.ModAV 35b 2 (REMOVE + SYMBOLS else won't work)
I have steam version but hope it helps.

      Put it in Documents/My Games/Starfield
dont put any mods in the install directory gamepass gives you, the only thing you do in that directory is edit the starfield.ini

    Awesome thanks!

Note: I had to run the cmd while playing. If i put it in my launch bat, it only applied to 1 weapon.

How to undo the command? Or what value would be back to vanilla sway?

I'm sure that not only wouldn't work but also would never be possible. No one would ever want that in their game anyway. You don't even really want that in your game.

Its work and add difficulty to the game, for player who like hardcore milsim game like arma, tarkov or stalker anomaly we want that, kill 10 people with a laser precision aim its not for me, i want challenge

to all people like me who like hardcore and who don't like arcade combat I recommend it, I lowered the value by 50% so that it moves more

What exactly is this changing? I notice its changing player data via modav, I'm guessing 35b 2 is some kind of hidden perk or trigger?
