    Hey nixr!

Thank you for creating this mod! I run a 32:9 monitor and photomode is only 21:9, so I can't get good panoramic screen shots with it (I like to use them as desktop wall paper). This mod is a god-send, finally allowing me to EASILY remove all the UI components without going into settings each time! Works like a champ! So simple, yet so effective!

    Thank you!

No probs dude. I haven't played this for a long while now so anyone reading this, please let me know if it goes out of date.

    Hey, nixr.
Thanks a lot for the mod. There's a use for all the laser pointers and ammo bars on guns now!
I think you got a typo in the key binding, though: "F"  should be capitalized, i.e. "F11=tm" not "f11=tm".

I hadn't played this for a while but I can confirm again after a fresh install that it is not case sensitive.

    That thing works though lol.
    Shoutout to the author. Thanks!

    How to do it:
Just download the .ZIP. It contains two files.
From there, simply do two things:

    (1) Copy/paste StarfieldConsole.ini into your MyGames/Starfield folder.
    (2) Copy/Paste the content of the StarfieldCustom.ini you have just downloaded (without quotation marks):
    "[Menu]
    bUseConsoleHotkeys=1"
at the bottom of your own StarfieldCustom.ini that you already have in MyGames/Starfield

Then press F11 when you're in-game to disable your HUD.
You can remap the key in the StarfieldConsole.ini document.

In case if anyone wondering why their hotkey isn't work, do NOT copy paste the lines shown in the message above. Nexus Mods automatically sanitizes some strings to prevent XSS exploits on their website. If you see any other messages on Nexus Mods telling you to copy their lines which has something like "javascript-event-stripped" then it will not work.

Download the mod itself and copy those lines directly instead.

Does not seem to be working for me.  I have my own StarfieldCustom.ini file so I added the line you had in your StarfieldCustom.ini to my own StarfieldCustom.ini file.

I then put the StarfieldConsole.ini file in the same location as my StarfieldCustom.ini file, and when I go in game pressing or holding F11 does absolutely nothing.

Edit: Oct 25, 2023 - I have tested this again, 4 different times.  Both using only your files, and adding the lines into my own files, and this does not work, at all.

Thanks for all of the great comments from previous versions of this mod. I've gone ahead and removed them now so that comments can focus on issues / improvements on this one.

There's a default keybind to hide HUD, can't remember the exact bind currently but you have to hold the key down for a second or two.

iirc it's `g`, `t`, or your `use` keybind. It works while piloting ship, not elsewhere I think.

You can hold down q to go into free look mode, with or without this hud disable.

Yes, it turns off the interface layer.
