Thank you very much. From unplayable to 60fps @ 1080p with MSI 1050ti with your 256 pack. Even new Atlantis has 35 fps and perfectly stable no lows no highs. I never thought it would be possible to play it with the 1050ti and despite the textures it still looks decent. great mod
The graphics card often has problems with particles. This is something you definitely have to tune down via the ini. Textures, particles, and lighting are the main issues. Steam Deck config is a great baseline. From there, you can then tweak it a bit until it's right for you.
Nice mod! Have you done each texture one by one? I have to resize and convert a bunch of textures for my mod and doing them one at a time is so infuriating
Hey, could you do an audio version of this mod too? My graphic card can run statfield with 60fps now but the sound is super choppy, I suspect that was my harddisk couldn't handle the loading of large sound files, any help?
I have tried the 128 bit version, and the 16 bit version. The message i get when i start starfield, is still, grapichs card does not meet minimal requirements.
Am I doing something wrong? Considering that my GPU is Geforce 940M and my CPU is Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz. Or is it that even with this mod, my pc is still not strong enough to run starfield.
I don't know am I supposed to say it on here but if you are using pirated windows you need to verify it or *cough* use *cough* kms@ or similar *cough* to make the gpu error message disappear.
use the valhalla fix i used it and i am playing the game but sometimes it stopes for a couple of seconds and work again but it didnt close or crash so everything is good (i cant upload files so i will give you the link) https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1zotX1hUwv4JizlzoYFE_ydcAw6pWXrK-?usp=sharing copy files to game directory
I noticed not all texture are covered, I use 1K loose texture Then use this texture(hoping it will overwrite it all) but its not, In fact its balance between blurry and none blurry i kinda like it :> + Gained performance and turn my game to not really ugly, im using 256bit.
Mods: FSFE Starfield Poyato Mode 16 bit Starfield Support for vortex No Saders for potato after installing ran the game was getting stedy 30 fps no crashes then went back and reread the install instructsions forgot to put the PotatoMode.BA2 in the starfield.ini after correction ,was looking at vortex and found i was running the game from the default run button and not the script extender . added it in from the Tools so i can launch it, my next launch gave me 50 fps in atlantis ship battles are awsome and close combat in close corters FPS droped down to 45 so ya you are the best keep up the good work.
Tried so many times with 8gb + this mod too i even try 16bit version but and yet still, unfornately the game always crash with, or without this mod after visitting new terrain like New Atlantis + some random dialogue crash when talking to npc etc (Barret when landing, in the first mission talkin to Lin after First Meet and when Barret start talkin toward me the game crash just like that this makes quest imposble to progress) it works smooth and not even single lag in my playable when wandering just random crash after every 5 damn minutes :( my fps is around 40-60) even without this mod so i guess this isn't CPU or GPU issues.
my spec is CPU: AMD Ryzen 5500u 2.10GHz Ram : 8GB GPU : Radeon Vega 7 Run On SSD : 512GB Windows 11
I just want to add an update comment. I was able to make Starfield look really really good on low resolution along side this mod. I consider this mod essential, my fps from 11 to 32, and its looking good. I use Starfield microsoft version, so this can be done, for everyone. Here's my recipe:
neutral LUT 128 Textures (here) Pick a reshade Set resolution on desktop to LOW or choose the 1366X768 OR LOWER. or higher. (this is done each time before launching starfield) Set your graphics card to 8x antialiasing for Starfield (take over program with native graphics card antialiasing setting). I use nvidia control panel. Download one of the Starfield ini performance tweak mods (theres quite a few, one is good, experiment), set starfield setting to LOW, but ensure resolution 100%, and sharpening 100%. You know you have a performance ini tweak when it provides a low, med, and high.ini files respectively.
Optional: Pick an assortment of quality/life improvement mods 'to save time' off 'loading screens'. (Short ship animations (one is good, other is bugged, theres 2 dif mods). Short menu animations.. and anything like that. Install on ssd. I deleted my recovery partition to make it possible, but wouldn't recommend it? SSD will destroy those long loading times down to 2-3 seconds per. For me was worth it. Originally installed HDD, it was 15 seconds+ loading times per.
I can't install SKSE, so those running Betterfield have more options. The above works for Lesserfield. Hopefully some of the user images I supplied are added so people can just 'see' what I'm playing, at 32 fps, on a dumputor.
While the mod initially seems potato, doing this recipe turns it into a baked potato. Edible. Essential if you are chugging 5-20 fps right now. I did it. 32 fps, looks great. So. Can. You.

anyone have any information about this? reply.
There is a way to remove the warning I think so google "how to remove starfield GPU warning" or something
