    2.8 has dropped!

    Why 2.8? Because 3.0 is when it expands beyond dockers and bays 😁

    Upgrading:

    Version 2.8 consolidates a newly-constructed Hope-11 aft with quite a few more dockers, bays and a game changing new feature - the airlock doors (no, they don't work in space lol). While landed, you can enter and exit your ship wherever you want. Even the top!. It's good stuff, it's been thoroughly processed through Creation Kit, it is and will always be a FULL master because I respect your load order 😝. And sanity.

    What will happen:

    All existing parts should remain as-is, where is, however, they should not be available for purchase anymore, and when selected on a ship the names will start with [OBSOLETE]. As time permits (there is no rush) please upgrade your ship parts, and when you are ready, you can simple switch to the new, single-esm package.

    Now, listed after the vanilla dockers and bays, the 1-of-a-kind models are easy to find and easy to use. You should be able to simply replace the old parts. (Let me know asap if there are any issues please, or if I need to include some credits to offset any cost lol!)

    The new parts have no specific vendor, skill or level requirements, so there should be no more problems finding them 😉.

    More Visualized Docking conflict is inevitable - so I've included a patch if you use it.


    I'm too tired to to the beth.net release tonight - hopefully someone can provide some feedback overnight :)

    Hopefully it goes well. Rollback if it doesn't and save early and often!

    FAQ:

    Q: The OmniDock Thruster's max speed is 300 - all the engines slow it down!
    A: A ship's max speed is determined by the slowest part: This is merely a booster engine capable of a max speed of 300, ensuring it is unlikely to slow down any engines you may have.

    Q: That hope-4.1 cargo bay's door isn't the same as the circle on the other side!
    A: You just can't see the circle door is all

    (But if it bugs enough people I'll make a non-cargo variant 😝)

    hands down one of the best habs. lore friendly, clean and sleek, heck id even mistake them to be one of the vanilla habs. despite being the smallest they are very spacious. 100% will never leave my mod order

    Hey JPMZ11, I'm getting a weird glitch with the 1-of-a-Kind Hope-4.1 XL - Fore bay, where there's some sort of nif/mesh/morf error where this gigantic black blog appears around the bay extending in all directions including through the ship's interior. Any thoughts?

      Following up on this to say that I'm still seeing these errors with the Hope-4.1 XL - Fore bay.

    I'm wondering.

    I've installed the "2.8-WT-Legacy02".
    But i am missing the "standard StabilityPro-Bay with Door".

    I thought this mod only adds the LadderVersion next to the Standard instead of replacing.
    Or did i something wrong?

    I mostly use DoorBays instead of LadderBays.

    What a fantastic mod jmpz11!  I'm still figuring out all the possibilities your mod gives us.  I'm getting stumped by the screen door lander though.  I stick it on the side of a hab ~two habs high and cannot approach it to activate the door.  It worked on on version of my design, but smodified it no longer works.  Thanks for your hard work and ability.

    the aft docker from hopetek needs adaptation to snap to owltek and graph habs.

    Hey pal, great job on the mod. Having a Docker that doubles as a landing thruster opens up so many ship ideas.

    Just wanted to let you know about a bug though. It's on the 1-of-a-kind Nova NG-2 Flip - Btm Docker.

    Everything looks fine while assembling your ship. But when you go back in to change a few things, it's hard to describe but a large sharp outline appears around the Docker. At first this is invisible and its fine like that. But eventually the invisible outline becomes a very visible large sharp asset underneath your ship. Almost looks like a big cloak blowing in the wind under your ship. Anyway, just wanted to let you know. I was playing on Xbox at the time and my ship was on Dazra when the invisible "cloak" object became visible. Just in case you need to recreate it.

    Absolutely fantastic mod!
    I see you're working on further updates, and I was wondering if you could add: Cargo Access controls to the landing bays? You've already got the Landing Bay Door control on your To Do list. This is a great mod and I can't even consider ship designs without it.
