The mods for this ship work perfectly fine on the older version of Starfield (if anyone is still running it). Otherwise, there may still be a mod that hasn't been updated to the current version yet. This tool might be necessary to convert missing .nifs in the case of missing or 'invisible' ship parts.
Which turrets not fire? I not downolad your save, so I dont know if you use my weapons. If they are mine, I will check it out. If not, I suggest contacting the author of the mod.
Okay, I'm not sure, but I think the problem is caused by how the ship is built and where the turrets are placed. Even if in the shipbuilder you were able to install them their movement is restricted. Normally the turrets rotate 360°, but in your case they don't rotate completely because there are other modules that hinder them.
Ok, added all required mods as indicated. However, I can't find JIYTv2 stuff anywhere and it is not in your list. On attempting to travel I get an error about fast traveling being blocked. I have added power to appropriate systems. Any help would be appreciated.
First of all, the save file is at the starting point of the game, so you can't fast travel until you drop off Vasco at Constilation and go through all that mumbo jumbo about the artifact. After that, you can fast travel like normal. (or even change your name and appearance at 'Enhance' if you plan to keep playing this save file.)
Second, JIYTv2 is the shortened term for 'Junk In Your (Ships) Trunk', which is indeed on my list in the description, maybe you missed it?
Third, if you still have problems with JIYTv2, maybe its just not showing up because you missed the requirement for the mod to work. If you read JIYT's download pop-up, it needs another mod to function: 'Ship Builder Categories'. Install that if you haven't yet. (I'll also add it to the required mod list.)

Sorry about that. I don't think I've started a new game since the day I downloaded starfield. Completed the initial steps and all is working perfectly now. Thanks so much for being so kind in your response and providing the additional help. I did match up my plugins.txt with your just to be sure. Working now. However "G" does NOT fire anything (as you indicated was a possibility).
Sadly, it's a weird turret bug that makes them not automatically fire for some reason (they can not be activated by the player by default, anyways) Sorry about that!
On another note, I'm glad you sorted everything else out! Enjoy blowing things up! ^_^
