Update 3.4 changes include: - Added a Settings submenu to toggle empty outfit storing/equipping and to toggle auto outfit change, converting the mod into a "wardrobe". - Added the option to store space outfits for specific space hazards (experimental, may fail on some conditions like multi hazards or mixed weathers)
does this mod still work on xbox? my problem is that if the space suit is worn, it doesn't hide later even if other sets don't have it selected. everything is put on but doesn't automatically unload anymore
Not sure if still updating this, but seems like Zone79's modular clothing is not a friend of this mod. Base outfits seem to work but when add a belt or necklace, etc, it doesn't fully strip all clothing and causes overlaps of stuff.
Actually I am not sure if it's A. DLC or B. Custom Clothing but the mod is definately glitchy and can barely get to work anymore. Not properly removing clothing even when just using a base outfit (IE 1 piece). I rarel;y use vanilla clothing and while vanilla body format, mostly KZ and Zone79's stuff.
I will just stick to non followers for now, altho main PC has issues as well switching.
i cant seem to use this mod right or something, i follow the instructions in the description and it does work but my spacesuit dosent hide when it switches to home/homeship outfit, i am using a starwars armor mod not sure if its the problem, although i did get it to work once with it
Guess I'll find out. Can you set up separate outfits for different outposts with this mod? Like a swimsuit at your beach house and work clothes at your resource farm, or can it only be one universal home setting?
Worked great at first. Then it started to get confused about hats, gloves, and backpacks. Keeping them equipped between outfit changes. Then it started mixing up the follower's outfits. Equipping homeship in city and such. Eventually equipping only half of one outfit (shown equipped in the inventory) while visually half of another outfit remained (not shown as equipped in inventory). Finally it just started equipping the space suit for both player and follower at every location.
Seemed to do the same with smarter auto-hide disabled, but there were probably some vestigial effects.
I am noticing this too, works fine with 1 piece outfits, but adding custom accessories makes it have hard time removing and re-adding. Sometimes it will change, other times will leave some stuff on. Not sure if fixable because base game only really had head items as equippable and not sure what creators are using for the accessories like jackets and such.
Updated to 3.3 changes include: -This should fix most cases of outside/space random changes, if you find locations causing random outfit changes please leave a comment with the planet or moon and POI causing the change. - Player and followers will no longer equip "empty" outfits. - Added a follower temporal outfit array so the player and followers no longer share the same array. - The follower temporal outfit array will only reset when the follower menu is activated/deactivated. - The player outfit temporal array will not reset when saving an outfit it would only reset on startup. - Both previous changes will allow to save outfits faster as there will be no need to unequip/reequip everything for every outfit. - Multiple code optimizations.
Current fixes and stuff to come in 4.0 - Constellation memebers will use their Space outfits by default. - Multiple space outfits for different extreme weathers (corrisive, radioactive, sandstorm, heat/cold, etc). - Non extreme weather detection and outfits (rain and clear). - Weather change detection (on foot). - Swimming detection (I'm implementing my own custom events as after testing EVERYTHING papyrus has nothing semed to work).
While I like the idea of better suits for different atmospheres, I tried this pre-mod manually but carrying a ton of suits took my inventory down to barely looting and when selling had to be careful not to sell suit I would use. Unless you have some way to utilize ship storage for this, going to be alot of suit lugging.
I really wish Bethesda made a actually suit locker and you store variety of suits in it and can then select categories for which suit you like, but 1 problem is if you land at landing pad, it boots you off the ship without asking.
Hey, I was just wondering how difficult would it be to implement an array of outfits (5-10) that are not automatically changed but are manually selected. Like my idea is to have yours and all companion's outfits saved to an entry and when you hit it they all change. Not asking to implement it, I'm just wondering how complex such a feature is. I'm currently using hotkeys and scripts to handle it. It's mostly for locational outfits, one for Akila, New Atlantis, etc.
Feel free to shoot this idea down. I was just thinking about implementing a simple set of scripts and thought about this project.
I was wondering the same thing, altho if he gets 4.0 to work, that may take care of my needs, mainly wanted quick switch for weather. Some planets with no suits also have cold areas, or at least graphically its snow, etc. Not sure if temp change shows up properly for those, but like to be able to quick equip warmer outfit.
