I was noticing  more then one VTOL engine mod on the site here, which  one works with the Conquerer III ship?, note I make the ship wider, taller and longer  and usually end up with  nearly  twenty engine's,  16 smaller engines and the 4 or 6 that came with the ship and I wont to add either 2 or 4 VTOL engine's and the original engines that came with the ship

Also I use LOOT to manage my mods, well LOOT organize  this properly?

I just wont the most current stable VTOL engine mod  to use

Wonderful mod. Are you considering adding more engine sizes? Both yours and the Firefly rather big. I was hoping for something for smaller ships.

If not, If you could give me the gist of how to get the rotation effect? Then I could try my hand at doing the same using a model ripped from the game itself.

I have a video on YouTube explaining the basics of Nifskope. These engines are a simple bash together of two Nifs into one where I take an animated landing gear, in this case the Hope 5. I delete the unwanted meshes from the NIF and copy the entire entry from an engine NIF in. When browsing the NIF, you will notice it looks like a file structure and one of the "folders" contains all the part that you want to be animated so the engine's file structure goes in there.

    Love your work.

I know the engine uses the space for most of the landing gear that was originally there but am wondering if it would be possible to have an alternate or additional version that re-adds the inside most leg to the lander. It looks great in flight, but when the engines are placed lower on a ship, it looks a bit odd having the engines exhaust housing support the weight of the ship when landed.

Maybe in the future, but for now, no. Starfield is too buggy with loading mod plugins right now. I just spent a whole days redownloading my entire 200+ mod list and reorganizing my load order to even get my game loading, because loading ESMs is so broken.

Mine won't let me place them lower on the ship. Even when the thing underneath of it is green, it still says there is something underneath the landing bay. Any idea how you're able to do that? I'd like the option if possible.

I am also having an issue where i have to place it 1 block higher to keep it from showing "under landing bay" which shows it red/misaligned but it works, although a bit of an eye sore since it's hovering in air. I am going to assume there is a conflict with my mods likely, but is there a way to fix this, in this situation? I doubt there is an issue with the mod itself. Going to try to download a mod that removes all conflicts in ship builder and try that.

Please make a regular engine with one large nozzle for the usual arrangement from the rear and a complete pair with one large nozzle forward as a traster, from the two parts that you created the VTOL engine, I beg you very much!
    please!

do these engines affect engine top speed or are they functioning structural pieces like the decorative engine mod? I use the Mag drive mod so the ship hovers, so I was wondering if it will reduce my engine speed like the base game engines

They are engines and count toward engine thrust and speed calculations. You ship will likely still hover , but your speed may be reduced.

I dunno why for me, the engines are invisible lol. I use the firefly mod and it works just fine, so I don't know what's going on lol. Maybe I should move it lower or higher in the load order?

So, the engine are in the ship builder, but no meshes are showing up for you if I understand you right? To confirm, you are on one of the latest builds after that patch that broke meshes right? You confirmed you put the BA2, files in the same place as you put them for the Firefly mod, correct? Speaking of, just checked the Firefly mod and it's using loose file, you sure you have the INI setting to load BA2s? or if you put them in My Games/Data, did you try Starfield/Data to make sure? I use MO2 myself, so it handles all that stuff for me.

I have the latest version installed, and yeah it's just invisible. I have this problem with another mod too that's clothing that also uses BA2 archives. I am pretty sure I have the ini set to load them, but maybe I don't. What lines need to be added again? I use the baka mod so everything goes into my steam data folder instead of my games folder.  So the files are definitely in the right place.

So you have both the ESM and BA2 in the Starfield.data folder, sounds like it should be good to go.

Do you have the following lines in your Starfieldcustom.ini?

      [Archive]
      bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
      sResourceDataDirsFinal=

Could also try editing the Starfield.ini and look for the line that ends with "Starfield - TexturesPatch.ba2", add a comma and the name of my BA2, another comma, and the name of that clothing mod's BA2. The game is supposed to load any BA2 associate with an ESM and shouldn't require this as long as the ESM is being loaded, but never know, might help.

Yeah already got that added in there where it should be. I might try putting the name of the archive in and see if it works. Unless there's an updated archive extractor for starfield and I could just manually add the textures etc. Used to do that all the time for fallout 4 because it had a limit to the actual number of ba2 archives you could physically have in the folder, in use or otherwise.

Download Creation Kit from Steam, it includes Archive2 under the Starfield/Tools/Archive2 folder. It can add and extra BA2s.

Yeah did that, it's a no-go. I extracted everything for both this mod and the other, and added it to my data folder. Everything is invisible now, where as the clothing mod had at least some working parts to it before extracting. Was this current update to this mod made after the last big starfield update? I have yet to update to that because of not wanting broken mods. Could that be my issue perhaps?

You need to be at least build 1.11.36 I think, because that's the update that broke mesh file paths.

Yeah looks like that's my issue then, because I am on the version before that big update. I wonder if I could use one of the archived files from previous updates? We can't download those though. I really don't want to update because then I'd have to go back and update everything modwise, and remove things that aren't updated lol. Too much hassle when my game works now as is. Thanks for your help though.

In case you didn't realize, check the comments on your Firefly Engine mod. I posted a link for the updated file for it, fixed the issues it had. You can upload those as an update to that mod.

No problem, just glad it is working as intended now. I have no desire to take the mod over neither. I probably won't be around long I am already getting bored with it like the Apples likely did as well.

They would be in your My Games folder either under your user account or you OneDrive/Documents.

      For example:

       D:\Onedrive\Documents\My Games\Starfield\Data\Textures\Photos\

If you are using MO2, then they would be in the Overwrite folder. Something like:

       F:\Modding\Instances\Starfield\overwrite\Textures\Photos

Of course this is in my case.

Easiest way, go to the images tab of my mod and there's a button to "add your images" and they will appear at the bottom under User Images.

cool. Thanks for the help.  It's the Razorleaf flying near a planet.  Now, if you don't mind a request... having 3015 stats on these would be a bonus.

That big motor is a Class A from this mod I think: Alternative Engines at Starfield Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)

I've got several Engine mods.  I think yours is my new favorite
