HELP! MY CAMERA IS TOO ZOOMED IN! I CAN'T SEE ANYTHING! I highly recommend you adjust your FOV if the camera seems too close to your character. Lower FOV settings may make it hard to see with this mod. So if you have this issue I highly recommend upping your FOV setting. I personally play at 100 FOV but for some people this may be too much. I recommend somewhere from the 70 to 100 range.
I guess, seems like a niche situation though. Besides for the First Order Jet Trooper who can hover and aim in the air. Honestly, I wish every aerial unit and Boba had that ability.
Actually might not be possible now that I think of it since I recall I think some normal characters share a camera with the aerials for whatever reason.
I think the only one that has it's own unique camera is the jump cop, which shares with Boba.
Not sure you're understanding. I'm saying that I'm pretty sure non aerial characters like Lando share a camera with an aerial trooper for whatever reason. So if I do give them an offset it's going to give a couple of random characters an offset for basically no reason as well. Which at that point, you might as well use my other camera mod or something.
Blame DICE I guess for not just giving aerials their own separate camera file.
Man, I really don't feel like going through and finding out which value is for each specific side again for each camera just for this shit. But, fine. I'll do it anyway.
I can tell you since I made my own version. Hero weapon default camera 3p, specials b2 camera 3p, and hero weapon jumpcop camera 3p. you can see which characters are affected by clicking on references.
What FOV are you playing at? I don't have much trouble with it. I raised the camera height so you can actually see over your head while flying which is something I didn't do in earlier versions.
I'm very curious about the Ewok Camera Hack. Would it be possible to create a version that has the Ewok's PF file use one of the regular classes' cameras? I am trying to use Thisguy's Jawa Reinforcement mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/starwarsbattlefront22017/mods/4571) but it uses the Ewok's camera which makes for poor visibility.
Well, I checked the mod using the Frosty Mod Manager's "Actions" tab and it doesn't seem to modify the PF_EwokRebel file. So, theoretically, it should already work by itself without issue.
Thanks for the reply. Yes, the Centered Ewok Camera Hack does work with the Jawa Reinforcement mod, which replaces the Ewok, but it creates the same visibility issue (because it's a tall Jawa). That's why I was curious how exactly you assigned the BB8 camera to the Ewok in Frosty Editor. I wanted to try to use the same method, but assign the regular trooper camera to the Ewok.
Right so go into the "PF_Special_EwokRebel" file, go into Objects and open [0] and [19] both have the Ewok_Rebel_Camera_3P file listed. Simply grab another camera file and replace it.

But yes, I'll upload an optional file for that.

f*#@ing aerial mains.
I don't know who shares with what, so to be safe I just did all the cameras. lol

now i still have to use 30 Sep 2022 version

Just wondering is there another "free camera" mod ?
When you move your mouse left or right, you'll rotate around your character ?
The end result is you'll be able to see your characters front without the need of using the "emote" menu just to do that.
I noticed there is a "free camera" mod here but its been taken down.
And if I just gave everyone BB8's actual camera then alot of character's camera's would be way too low to the ground.

No offense.
If so, then yeah I've got nothing. Never experienced this error and nobody else seems to have either so it's likely something on your end.
Plus, I wanted to experiment with a camera mod anyway. And this was the result.
