Hi, thanks for these information it really helps! I have a doubt, i already unpacked and edited the mesh:the LOAD0,1,2 IN BLENDER, and i click in export so the new .uexp file has the information of the new mesh, but i don't know how to pack that again so i can move it to the "pack" folder of the game! Do you know how do i have to proceed? Thanks anyways!
You can follow the step 4 of my texture modding tutorial, it explains how to create a pak. Step 3.3 explains what kind of folder structure is needed https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/8572738-tutorial-texture-modding/
Assassin's Creed isn't made with Unreal Engine. This tool can work with other UE4 games that have the uexp format for 3d models.
Now if it's possible to create a similar tool for Assassin's Creed, I'd say yes but I haven't looked too deep into AC files. It's really a shame AC games aren't open to modding much.
Looks awesome! Curious what skilled people, such as yourself, can do with it :P
I'm not going to mess about with it because I know I'll destroy my entire game with my clumsiness XD I'm interested to see if people will be able to make other races, such as nautolans.
So I checked it out abit. I opened up your maul creation, its UV and texture images and naturally I'd need to reallign them, the "map points". I'm not acquainted with the terms XD
I was curious to see if I could recreate the fanart Force Unleashed White-Black Darth Maul.
I was wondering if there was a way to view the already unwrapped Maul version and if these points I'm talking about would remain if I opened up an altered version of the same image.
Note: didn't open UV to alter it, but to try and understand how everything worked.
@RevaniteD To view maul with UVs/textures in blender, you need to Export it from umodel as glTF or psk. (Not something that was possible when I made Maul's texture, so I textured blindly, which explains the horns lacking precision in alignment.) Importing and setting the proper textures in materials, you'll be able to view the texture on the model. Do remember you cannot modify the UV, only the texture.
So I gave GLTF a try... But I get this weird spiky ball: https://imgur.com/VstWjR5 Sculpting show's the head correctly but everything else is just this weird thing...
Is it possible to make Cal's legs and arms a little bit thicker and muscular with this? They are so tiny that I have the feeling that they might brake... :-) Though the vanilla outfit looks really great.
Are you getting an error? did you input an absolute path? like so A:\Fallen Order Modding\umodel_win32\UmodelSaved\Game\Characters\Hero\Rig\Face\hero_rig_face.uexp are you sure the uexp file you're loading is a mesh? does the Search Vertex Offset button work?

Cause it doesn't seem to accept those file types in any shape for me.
Thank you for helping a noobie out ^^
