Doesn't work anymore. Just gets stuck in an infinite loading screen and the logs just say this [WARNING] UObject Not Defined. Scanning for def. [INFO] Scanning For UObject Index Def.
Does this no longer work? December 1 2024. I downloaded the files from mexusmods.com. Put the files where they belong, and nothing. I look at the map, and it's unchanged. There is no obvious way to fast travel anywhere. Is there some button or keystrokes you need to make this work?
It works pretty well for me. The only gripe I have is that the helper message on how to toggle the thumbnails and how to fast travel covers up the subtitles after you interact with the hyperspace travel holomap in the Mantis and sits there obstructing the view until you land. Is it possible to shut that off? It should not be appearing when you choose to go to another planet.
I have no idea. I know some people like the convenience of steam but I prefer having a local copy I can install whenever. Maybe that's what makes the difference, maybe not. Double check where you put things to make sure. I installed both FOML and FOMH. The instructions have changed since this mod was uploaded a bit. And I think there's a file that has to be replaced from FOML or FOMH, can't remember which. I think FOMH has the updated instructions which are really easy to follow. My thoughts were if I couldn't get it working, I'd simply uninstall and do without it. Gladly I didn't have to because fast travel is the only way you can easily get back to some places if you miss items. And you won't get stuck if you accidentally teleport into a place you're not supposed to go back to.

It works exactly as described, just follow all the directions carefully.
Then once you're in the game, press P to enable the mod.
Follow the mod's on-screen instructions to use Fast Travel and enjoy.
Placed the SwGame folder where it needed to be.
Placed this mod in the LogicMods folder.
I am not seeing any way to fast travel.
