IMPORTANT NOTICE: First of all, thanks to everyone enjoying and using the mod, I didn't know it'd be this big lol. And apologies for being gone so long Second, people have been reporting that the mod does not seem to work. It only seems to not work on a new save. So, Start the game until you need to use force abilities and then download the mod Third, for people who lose the stamina gauge completely when hit...I have no idea. I'm guessing this could be from a new game? All I know is it's working fine for me and a few others Fourth, any other mods using AlexPo's Difficulty Editor you'll need to merge the files
I will probably not be working or adding to this mod (as I am busy with other things), and also not technical enough to see what is being affected. If you fix any bugs you find, feel free to either make a patch yourself, or tell me why something isn't working, IE, 'This doesn't work on a new game because [insert reason] and I'll try and make a patch. If you make the patch yourself, let me know, and I'll add it to the front page + requirements tab :)
I'll also see the issues here in the Posts tab, and add them on the Bugs tab (so you can see any issues easier) Note: Only for actual mod problems and not conflicts (unless it's a conflict with (somehow) a mod that doesn't change the difficulty editor)
Just a reminder to all mod users... Remember to check for mods that are incompatable.
I spent quite a while wondering why this mod wasn't working. I thought I had it working before; but, couldn't figure out why it wasn't working on any of my game saves. I couldn't think of any mod that would be conflicting.
Finally thought I should go through my mods in Vortex... And, what'a'ya know... "No Fall Damage" mod was on. Forgot I added that earlier. Deactivated it, and this mod worked just fine for both my regular and New Journey + playthroughs.
Thanks to VaLightningThief for creating and uploading this awesome mod. Much appreciated.
Hey ! In AlexPo's Difficulty Editor, wouldn't changing 'FocusMeterPassiveRegenerationRate' to 10000 make it so you have infinite Force ? Because the way I understand it, FocusMeter is basically the ForceMeter. On Jedi Master and Grand Master you have to hit ennemies to gain back Force power but in Story and Jedi Knight difficulty does it regenerate automatically (default is 20.0 on Story difficulty and 3.0 on Jedi Knight difficulty, suggesting Force regenerates on these difficulty options) ?
Has anyone tried that yet ? Probably yes, and I'm having a dumb idea. I'll test it and reply here.
It actually does work, at least I think it does. When using force multiple times, after reaching the 'low force area' on the force meter, it goes back up to full instantly, without having to hit an ennemy. You can't spam force though, as the game as to register you stopped to gain back the force.
I tested without it and I'm realizing I actually made something decent. I will upload it on NexusMods then, maybe it'll help someone out there.
Im happy you came out with this mod I was starting to believe the only mods that were gonna come out for this game was just going to be dumb ones but if you can could you maybe edit this so you dont lose all of your focus when you get hit from attacks? im not sure how hard it is to mod this game is if its not possible thats fine but if you could change it with no problems that would be much appreciated, otherwise great mod and keep up the good work :)
Of course, and thank you! I shall try to sort that out soon, hopefully today Edit: Can you please tell me what focus is? I'm confused as to what you mean
focus is the blue bar im pretty sure. Focus and force is the same thing I think I sometimes call the blue bar focus sometimes I call it force. This game plays like dark souls (even tho it shouldn't bc its star wars lmao) so alot of the things in this game I call it based off of dark souls like games my mistake.
For some reason when you get hit you lose your entire force gauge and can't use force until you hit an enemy.
Also I started new game + and the mod just doesn't work at all, stamina drains like vanilla and force has the same vanilla amount, only the slower force consumption is in effect.
Pretty cool. Works better than others i have tried which dont work for me at all for some weird reason. Something odd I did notice, i was running the invincibility mod at the same time and it seemed to disable/override it? Not sure if this can be fixed or if its just a glitch. Not a huge deal since i finished the game anyway, but still odd, thought i'd point it out.

I'm facing the same issue

mod works with an already made save though.
