It has a Microsoft .NET header so I tried installing the 5 version to see if that would fix it but nothing. I followed the install guide to the letter. What am I missing?
So, I changed the resolution to 2560x1440 and, even though I do have a pretty decent PC (AMD Ryzen 9 7900X, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER), and even though the game is installed on a SSD, it takes quite some time and then some to load. Is it normal? Besides, HUD and Crossfire is, well... Big. Is there a way to scale it anyway? Or do I need to install some mods? I managed to get the subtitles on outside of cutscenes, and to install a polish language. The mod seems to work just fine, but so far I can't really see much difference between OG and Remastered. EDIT: Game loads a cutscene as a level, and gets stuck. I can even kill Josh and some other Jaydens. It helped to restart the game.
application load error 5:0000065434 on launch. Folder is excluded from Windows Defender(I don't use avast or security essentials) and I have also tried running as admin. Error seems to indicate issue of launcher not being in steam directory for executable, not sure though.
I have also attempted using the following changes to ini (;[USING RS] ;Inject RS, ;[USING EAX EMULATION]) but have not had any effect.
Is there any chance of getting a solution? I would love to use this mod, but none of the solutions others have posted work and the default instructions yield the above error. This is getting beyond ridiculous.
Hey, I found a solution for my case and I hope this helps you too. Make sure that Jedi Academy is installed in the same drive that your steam client is in. So if your steam client is in the C drive, have Jedi Academy in the C drive as well.
Gog version, windows 10. AMD graphics card. I did everything according to the instructions, the game crashes at startup, it is clear that the permission configurations do not work...
How can i acess the setting for vegetation/grass range ... it loads only when im really near it - how to make the setting so i can see vegetation/grass from a bigger distance? Trees and stuff i can see but not grass... :D
Installed it, works, but i have a few questions. I see that author is banned. 1. What can be done with vegetation/lod? i have my game on ultra in 4k, but grass pops up in 2 meters from me and then disappears. The first mission when you helping rosh to cut down the tree. must be some parameter at config settings 2. in the end of first mission (when you passing out) the cinematic stucks (can be skipped only with enter, but then you skipping cut scene) 3. how to disable the upper letterbox. Black plank/bar is annoying, and you can't see a lot of npc heads during cut scenes.
Cannot get this to work, Im running linux and running with Steam version. Installed OpenAL, performed the instructions exactly and when i use the launcher, run with proton, nothing.
