same here but then i checked and i only changed 2 fields related to resolution -- there were at least 2 more so i pressed CTRL + H to find and replace in notepad and changed all occurences to 1920x1080
Hello, slightly dumb question, but there are two files with two separate names that use the same .ini file, is the most update one generally superior as pertains to stuttering specifically?
I have 4gb VRAM and i have issues with plastic textures and flickering textures no matter how i change graphic settings... I try this ini way but it doesn´t seems to help and change my horrible looks textures.... Please can you give me some advices or fixes how would i play this game which looks normal?
Holy s#*!! what a huge improvement! it still hitches/hiccups here and there, its not perfect BUT its miles better than before. I'm running a 4070 TI Super and i7 13700K with 32Gb RAM at 1440P should be zero reason for this game to be running like this on that type of hardware, it was so frustrating seeing it stutter every time you traverse through the world, i was trying to figure out how to at least make the stutters bearable but couldn't find any fix until this.. thank you so much!
I have the same problem as Masterjax, the settings don't apply in-game. They still are the same even after installing them and setting them to read only.
Yes, I managed to find it through search function, doesn't show up in the folder otherwise. Still doesn't seem to have worked though. So not sure what's wrong.
I changed the resolution and screen size to 3840x2160 for my monitor memory settings to 30000, I have 32gb Streaming pool size to 15000 - I have rtx 4080super
I see, I'm not 100% sure my info is correct, but I would recommend only changing your resolution and streaming pool while not touching anything else. For example, your memory is ot always empty and usually takes around 9 gigs or so to maintain all the processes without even launching the game, so capping it at 30000 might be problematic.
My recommendation would be redownload the file again, replace your original one with it and do the following: Change resolution for the desired one (can be done in-game) Change window mode to fullscreen (not borderless, can be also done in-game) Change streaming pool size to 14436
After changing all the settings, quit the game (if you were in it), wait for 1-2 mins, set the file to "read only" in properties and then try launching the game again to see if anything changed.
I'm playing on all epic in 1440p with DLSS Quality and frame gen enabled and the game runs so so nicely. There are some microstuters still occasionally once per 5-10 mins but I think they happen due to how the game handles new shaders when encountering them unfortunately and I'd assume it cannot be fixed.
P.S. fwiw I also updated the DLSS frame gen file of the game after finding it causes ghosting if you use the original files....... (did they even test the game?) You can find it by goolging "jedi survivor dlss file"
For some reason the settings stopped working, although before that the effect was there... Lens flares appeared again. Well, and the "white textures" are still there )) The file is "read only", the monitor resolution and memory I changed (only RAM, VRam is the same ) I swapped both options - no effect...
p.s. I turned off FG (it turned out that it works better without it), but this can't be the reason, can it? ))

Edit: of course the game should be better optimized but performance would likely be bad anyways
Can you please let me know where did you find the file and what steps did you do to modify it?
I also highly suggest setting the game to fullscreen and trying to play it in it, for some reason it magically makes it even more stable for me.

Seems to be mostly just the cantina now though
