WHAT TO DO IF YOUR GAME IS CRASHING 1. Restart your PC 2. See if there's any overlays active and disable them (Nvidia and Steam, for instance) 3. If you have other mods installed try deleting them and running the game ONLY with UE4SS 4. Delete the file xinput1_3.dll inside the folder where JediSurvivor.exe is located 5. If you have the console enabled for UE4SS change the line GraphicsAPI = opengl to GraphicsAPI = dx11 in UE4SS-settings.ini (inside JediSurvivor.exe folder) 4. Delete all UE4SS files, verify integrity of game files (Steam) and then Reinstall UE4SS + Other Mods 5. If none of these worked enable the UE4SS console and run the game. When it crashes look for a file called "UE4SS.log" where JediSurvivor.exe is located. Paste the complete log down here for me to see.
IMPORTANT - FOR OUTFIT MANAGER USERS:
This mod uses the latest version of UE4SS, whilst OutfitManager uses an outdated version. In order to use both you'll need to delete OutfitManager, install the latest version of UE4SS, then copy the following folders and files inside them from the latest version of OutfitManager to your game folder (after installing the latest UE4SS):
It is of EXTREME importance that you do NOT have the file xinput1_3.dll in your game folder otherwise it WILL crash on startup.
PRESS "INSERT" IN THE MAIN MENU AND THEN ONCE YOU'RE IN GAME PRESS "INSERT" AGAIN TO LOAD THE MODS. THAT WAY OUTFIT MANAGER WILL WORK NORMALLY (Press K to start it)
FOR EA APP USERS
If your game is crashing on startup or the UE4SS console says that it couldn't write the log file you have a permission error. There's two different solutions:
Download and run this: https://www.revouninstaller.com/user-tutorials-new/registry/InstallTakeOwnership.reg
Then go to the folder before Jedi Survivor folder (C:/Program Files/EA Games), right click on the Jedi Survivor folder and select "Take Ownership". This should solve the problem.
Hi, I've been looking for a mod to tweak XP (either XP gains or XP requirements) would you happen to know which parameter would allow that? Part of me is hoping is a setting not unlike the one handling force points, hence why upon seeing your mod I thought to ask.
If you're asking which file contains XP progression its HC_ForcePoint_Classes. There's a function called "AwardXP" that you can multiply the value of if you want a similar behavior as this mod.
EDIT: It was a very simple mod I ended up actually making it. Here you go: https://www.nexusmods.com/starwarsjedisurvivor/mods/387/
