    it's coming along for a few more third person cameras but the speeder is proving difficult as i haven't worked out all the settings and the camera spazs out when turning.

    so i'm leaving that till last, it may be possible and may not be. so getting all the other cameras done is what i'm aiming for atm.

    update, few more cameras edited, climbing, nix (pet) mode, power slide and a few more crouch cameras.

    an almost but still needs work first person-ish optional download will be added shortly for kay's speeder.
    issues;

    - camera a bit stuttery in free look when moving (managed to get free look working as close camera broke it / camera would spaz out)
    - camera is positioned just above kay's head so will clip into view at times but nothing major. (moving it too close resulted in the camera flipping so it faced backwards) might be other camera settings elesewhere. it's as close as possible right now and is playable.
    making it an optional addon as the other fps views are decent enough.

    This works very well, it feels like a whole new game running around in first-person.

    I don't have a copy of the game yet, I'm waiting for discounts. When I buy the game, I'll try to finish this mod.

    thank you for this mod !

    i had to edit it to fit my needs :) i wanted to be able to switch between first person and third person, so i've removed all the files in "\helix\game system data\juice\camera\presets", keeping only the file "unarmedaim.mcamerapreset", then i've edited the file as below to move the camera (myDistance changed from 0 to -0.75, moving the camera forward) and to use my actual (non aiming) fov : 75, instead of 32.5

    now i'm able to switch in first person by aiming (unarmed)

    my friend you are a legend, this is exactly what I was looking for completely changed the game for me <3

    only 'glitch' i've really had is in vents I always clip through the floor definitely a bit immersion breaking but I'm sure you'll get it sorted soon. also zooming while in combat kays hair is very in the way but there is a bald kay mod that fully fixes that if anyone else is bothered by it. Thanks for making this Cando you are the goat

      I think i will wait awhile for more updates, before i start using it then. Besides that, this mod is what i've been waiting for, cool!

      If you're still having the issue, delete these two files from the mod and it should fix the vent bug while still keeping all crouching in first person.

    I found a way around the super low camera when in vents. I deleted these two files and I am at perfect eye level in vents again. Crouching otherwise still keeps me in first person. The only minor issue is when the game switches cameras when entering the vent, there's a quick zoom in/out less than a second long.

    Climbing was difficult for me in first person with how precise jumping from ledge to ledge can be, not to mention how some parts are designed for a very zoomed out camera, so I deleted this one to push me to third person for any climbing.

    I'm still really early in the game on the first planet, but I'm getting a lot of distortion in ground textures that appear as square holes. I just got to the opening part where my above-bar room was raided and the bartender sent me on a job. The ground there is super distorted, the holes seem to ripple.

    Aside from that, the mod is fantastic, thank you for doing this. It's a beautiful game and this mod lets me see all the details.

    Edit: Escaped on the ship and made it to the first main world and I haven't seen the square holes since. Hopefully it's just a tutorial island glitch.

    Is there an in-game switch to go back and forth between 1st and 3rd person?  That would be a cool feature . . .

    This is great, are there keybinds? It switches to 3rd person even in cameras it's not supposed to I think. Wondering if it's me or just the WIP status of the mod maybe. Either way thank you!

    Roaming around kijimi its in 3rd person, but when i go into clan territory, it goes into first?
