Just a note, I was able to get this working on the latest current ReShade, 6.2.0.
The options to disable INTZ no longer shows in the add-ons, but it wasn't removed from the functionality. If you edit the ReShade.ini file for the game, you will see a [Depth] section. It was the very first line in my list, and I assume that's the default.
To disable INTZ, add the following line to the Depth section:
DisableINTZ=1
Lightsaber and force effects came back once I restarted the game, and it definitely looks better overall. I specifically went looking for a mod due to the washed out nature of Rishi, and now there's actual color depth there. Definitely worth it.
Could you explain how to do that as i have been trying to figure out what you said to do but cant figure it out I'm new to a lot of this modding games stuff.
Could someone kindly share their ReShade preset with me? I'm looking for the optimal settings and values to enhance my viewing experience. Unfortunately, the original YouTube tutorial I followed has been taken down. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
Tried it... no visual effects at all. No force abilities, no side quest thingies, nothin. I tried the fixes mentioned by other users in the comments, but the option they said to tick/change was not there for me. Also, I am using the most recent reshade, since I JUST installed it today directly from reshade.me.
if you're still wondering then you have to use reshade 4.8 and then got to d3d9 tab and tick the option that says "disable replacement with intz format"
This looks pretty nice, like it's bringing out texture detail.
For anyone with disappearing lightsabers/force effects/etc, update ReShade to a more current version. The disappearing effects but was fixed eons ago. I am currently using ReShade 5.2.2 + DXVK and it works just fine.
its not really that hard download preset put it where swtor exe is download reshade and when it asks you to choose an preset you select the preset which you extracted and thats basically it everything else is done on its own
Step 1: Put the .ini file from this mop in ..\steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars -The Old Republic\swtor\retailclient on whatever drive you install the game on. Step 2: a) You then need to download reshade, and install it pointing to swtor.exe in the same folder as previously stated. b) Select directx 9 c) Next the install will ask you to choose the .ini that you just added in the previous step. Select it and it should automatically choose the needed packages Step 3: Once in game press home to get the reshade GUI you can do the tutorial or skip it, your choice.
Step 4: enjoy
@Death4967 nice preset, I just reduced the strength of the HDR as I though it was a bit strong, but it's just personal preference. Thanks
