Does anyone get a lot of flickering on trees and structures during driving when using the vehicle headlight mod?  Makes it unplayable for me.

That's because undead labs uses "wet" textures that are extremely reflective for just about all environmental textures. You can edit your graphics settings to reduce/fix that. I also have a optional download that reduces that issue.

I tried the "less bright" but it didn't negate it very much.  I'll try tinkering around with graphic settings though, I did not try any of that.  Thanks.

So, in my the auto-shop of zod mod there's the option to customize the headlight brightness, if you download the mod and let me know your preferred brightness, I might add a optional download.

Does anybody have the same problem, that even after reinstalling the game (deleted appdata as well) the flashlight is still brighter and not vanilla anymore?

Delete the mod. After you remove the mod it can't effect the game.

No, this definitely happens. I experienced the same, although I used a likely old version on a fresh install of SOD2 at first. Forgot I even installed this last time I played. With the updated mods (less intense ver) installed I also get the color & brightness changing behavior someone else mentioned. I presume *something* got f'd up by the old mod still being in the pak folder when I first played the game.

If you remove the mod, there's no way the setting edits are being applied. The original poster is claiming that after uninstalling the mod it still works. That's not possible.

Yeah, that appears to be what's happening though. Any idea? https://prnt.sc/krMxQmuEhicM (looks a bit mangled because source is HDR)
I've searched for any other Paks, StateOfDecay2 and Microsoft.Dayton folders, nothing.

I didn't use the mod manager to uninstall though, just straight up deleted it.

If you are experiencing the mod settings on the flashlight or headlights, you have the mod (or multiple versions of the mod) installed. The game reads the mod as an update, so if the edited files are not installed, the mod can't function.

I've tried the mod, both the normal and the half as bright one. I see a difference in brightness, but my lights arent lighting up as far as in the mods image shows. Any idea what's wrong?

Do you have any mod conflicts with this mod? You can use Heilos's mod manager to check for conflicts.

It doesnt say there's any conflicts... Ive tried deleting it and redownloading the mod but that didnt work. Anyway to do a complete uninstall of this mod so I can reinstall it?

It's most likely the grime filter the game applies to every texture depending on how well your community is doing.

so the cause is might be from me trying to keep morale high in the camp?

      -edit-
i dont know why but i uninstall the flashlight mod and just went f*#@ it imma just vanilla flashlight, but when i went into the game, the mod works perfectly even if its not in my mod integration list, is just works

If you uninstall the mod correctly. Delete it from the mod manager, it will not be able to function.

Funktioniert noch immer mit der Aktuellen Version 37 und mit dem Mod Manager von Heilos schnell und problemlos.
