Indeed. All the screens look amazing but the logo in front of the characters, instead of the back, ruin everything up, imo. Mai Ultimate is the best one yet only because it doesn't have the line in front.
I hear you! I'm rebuilding all of them so the hexagon animation is positioned behind the characters, just like Mai's. Additionally, I'm improving the original animation—the one with World Tour, Battle Hub, and Fighting Ground transitioning into the custom artwork. This includes restoring colors lost due to Capcom's compression and enhancing sharpness—without using any AI upscalers.

@ryu600rr: It sounds like you’re experiencing PAK file corruption. To resolve this, please refer to the step-by-step process in the comment below. This solution has successfully helped multiple users with similar issues.
Apologies for the long wait, but E. Honda is finally here! This project was one of the first I started, and for a long time, I wasn’t completely satisfied with it. After numerous revisions and tweaks, though, I’m happy to say it’s now ready. I hope it’s been worth the wait!
Thanks for reaching out! After checking on my end and with other users, there doesn’t appear to be any issues with the current version of the game or the mod itself. However, some mod managers can occasionally cause problems where certain mods fail to apply correctly or corrupt the PAK file.
Initial Troubleshooting
Only apply one Quick Startup mod at time, any mod that changes the files in this mod can cause conflict.
Having a prolonged black screen is normal, after first applying the mod or having not launched the game for a while. Will be quicker afterwards.
Common Causes If you’re using Fluffy Mod Manager, applying mods that modify PAK files can sometimes break functionality. Fluffy does provide a prompt when this issue occurs, but resolving it can be a bit of a process. Here’s how to fix it:
Steps to Fix PAK File Corruption
Save Your Mod List Use the Mod Presets option on the right-hand side of Fluffy to save your current mod list.
Uninstall All Mods Remove every mod you’ve installed through Fluffy. Fluffy has Uninstall all mods button.
Verify File Integrity on Steam This step will restore any corrupted game files, including the PAK file.
Run the Game Without Mods Launch the game once without any mods to ensure everything is functioning properly.
Re-read Game Archives In Fluffy, use the Re-read Game Archives option to refresh the mod manager's data.
Reinstall Mods Add back your mods. You can do this manually or reload the preset you saved in Step 1.
Mod Structure Overview Here’s a quick breakdown of the mod’s structure, with the relevant elements highlighted:
Yellow: The startup screens that are skipped.
Green: The audio tied to the RE:Engine video, reduced to just 1 frame.
Blue: The three video files used for the title screen.
I hope this helps resolve the issue! Let me know if you need further assistance or encounter any other problems. Cheers, BrewedVFX
I tried these steps and while the Mai title screen does appear, it doesn't skip all the previous screens. This happened to me with the other versions as well. Changing the order the mods load doesn't improve my odds.
If it matters, I am using Fluffy's mod manager to apply these.
I fixed it. Despite the setting being off, firstnatives (which I was using to let me change file son the fly while the game runs) was still making it so fluffy was disabling pak modification. After removing dinput8 and restoring the original via verifying game files, the mod now works. I am sorry for the waste of time.
you're practically done with this mod, the only way I can see it evolving is if you can somehow implement classical outfit versions? hehe maybe too much to ask but I'm already happy with what there is :)
Just a few more C1 characters left to finish! I've experimented with bringing some C2 characters into Blender for manual posing, but I’ve been struggling with getting the facial expressions looking right, while maintaining the same render quality. For now, my focus is on completing the remaining C1 characters. I might try creating a collage featuring all the characters once they're done—if it turns out well, I’ll definitely share it
I’d love to make this possible, but in RE:Engine, I’m limited to replacing video files. The title screen consists of just three files (Start, Loop, and End), and without injecting code—such as through an external application like RE:Framework, of which would not initiate in time.—it’s unlikely I can achieve randomization. As far as I know, the Mod Manager doesn’t have an option to randomly select files when launching the game.
Still, I’ll keep an eye out for any potential workarounds!
