Mai is new and doesn't work right out of the gate like the other characters. Your issue does sound like something that happens when not re-reading game archives in FFM. Even if you have done that, try unselecting all mods, update FFM if you haven't, and re-read game archives again. If that doesn't work, verify SF6 in Steam and try the above again. If that doesn't even work, I guess reinstalling FMM (move your mods somewhere else so you don't have to download it all again) and doing the step above should solve it.
There are several requests for some minor tweaks and I won't be making every variation unless there are a lot of the same change... Although I do take them into account and consider some middle-ground when making adjustments.
Any chance color will be for other slots than Slot 2? There's this other color mod that is the White and Black which replaces slot 2 and I can't have Black and Gold. Would be nice if there was more slot options. Great mod though!
Yeah, that's a thing but everyone can select slots 1 and 2 from the start, I think, so I set it as a default. The easiest way is to open the zip file and change it to a slot you want in natives\stm\product\model\esf\esf028 > 001 or 002 folder (C1 or C2). The last three-digit number corresponds to the color slot. ex: esf028_002_cmd_001.user.2 = Slot 1 (C2)
Then just rezip everything. If you want, you should edit the .ini file to change the mod name for convenience as the mod name says Slot 2 and appears so in the mod manager.
It's simple but cumbersome. You need to extract her CMDs and use them as a base for the mod. The cumbersome part is that you must manually type the CMD path when editing. Copying and pasting the path ONLY saves the last chunk that you saved. It's time-consuming, so I don't recommend doing it this way.
But I like it tanned... Just kidding, but I don't want to make a bunch of versions unless I think they are granted. Work would pile up if some update breaks mods and requires updating them. But, I will make it for this one because you said plz ;)
It's working fine for me. Not sure it would help but I have no other Mai mods, updated the mod manager, and re-read game archives. (Probably not necessary but I verified SF6 on Steam just in case)

I thought it was a FFM problem but instead the others and even the new ones work perfectly
