Hello! I have one question, did you use "fishboy's" tutorial to do these color mods? If so I got a question. I learned how to color mod myself finally but I have a problem where I can't "save" the CMD file beacuse it says "Does not exist" yes I have the updated sctrips but for some reason it makes everyone disappear from sight on the character select and I cant go back D: is there any other way that I can save my CMD files? Or naw? Tried my hardest to explain this hope you understood D:
and let me just say that I ADORE your mods, they're just amazing and fun to look at :D
Not for this mod. I only had to change the file names.
The issue you're facing is a common issue caused by the EMV engine not being updated to the Mai update yet. For now, you can manually enter the file name in the empty CMD line. I'm not sure of characters disappearing in character select. You might want to re-read the game archives in FMM. Most of the issues are often simple things you might have overlooked.
Worked the first time but I had to uninstall it to delete some skins I didn't liked then repacked everything and now none of the costumes load (not the endless loading issue, they just don't appear at all). Awesome...
EDIT: No amount of install/uninstall solved the issue. I had to unpack the mod, edit something AGAIN, then pack it once more and then install it one more time. That did the trick. Geez. That was annoying af...
Yeah, I think it's just the master colors, but they act weird sometimes. I guess you've solved it but re-reading game archives sometimes does the trick.
First, awesome mod, really saves me from spending hours grinding for them.
I'm just curious how did you manage to extract these color data from the game data, could you please link some resources I can read or follow in order to do the same if you feel like to do so. I want to learn how to make a mod like this in case there are future EX colors and I wouldn't need to grind for them.
EDIT: I also liked you VFX color mod, are they made in a similar way? Sorry for all these questions, please don't feel pressured to answer them if you don't want to!
Files for these colors are in the same folder as files for other colors. I tried manually copying the values and other things, but TLDR, I just had to rename the file name to the file name of the normal color slots. It's a bit weird as this method didn't work first. It endlessly loaded. It might have been because it was conflicting with other mods, but not really sure. That's why I added a note in case this issue occurs. Anyways, there are no exact tutorials for this method, but guides on the fundamentals of coloring are available. SF6 How to create custom colors Tutorial VFX mods are a completely different story. I don't think there are real guides for it, but there is a great tool for recoloring vfx. SF6 EFX (VFX) Coloring Tool You just have to identify which vfx file is for which move/effect from sometimes over 200 files and edit only the necessary files for each character.
There is a very easy way to change the color slots manually for any character color mod.
1. Go to "...Fluffy Mod Manager\Games\SF6\Mods" Open the ZIP file of the mod you want to change the slot.
2. In the opened mod folder, go to "\natives\stm\product\model\esf" Folders in this folder correspond to each character: (There should be only folders for the characters the mod changes) esf001 - Ryu esf002 - Luke esf003 - Kimberly esf004 - Chun-Li esf005 - Manon esf006 - Zangief esf007 - JP esf008 - Dhalsim esf009 - Cammy esf010 - Ken esf011 - Dee Jay esf012 - Lily esf013 - A.K.I. esf014 - Rashid esf015 - Blanka esf016 - Juri esf017 - Marisa esf018 - Guile esf019 - ED esf020 - E. Honda esf021 - Jamie esf022 - Akuma esf026 - Baison esf027 - Terry esf028 - Mai
3. Open the folder of the character you want to change. There should be folders like "001" or "002". These are the costume slot numbers.
4. Open the costume number folder you want to change. There should be one or more files depending on the mod. Those files correspond to the color slots.
Ex: efs011_001_cmd_002.user.2 (Dee Jay - costume 1 - color sot 2)
The last three digit number corresponds to the color slot. Just change the file name to the color slot you want to assign to.
(Optional) 5. Return to "...Fluffy Mod Manager\Games\SF6\Mods" and delete the original ZIP and ZIP the edited mod. You might want to do this to remove duplicate mods or you can rename one of them and keep the original.
6. You can bundle different color mods by copying the content of the files in the esf folder. * This works for color mods and may not work for mods that have changes other than color.
If you want to separate characters you can also:
1. Go to "...Fluffy Mod Manager\Games\SF6\Mods" Open the ZIP file of the mod you want to change the slot.
2. In the opened mod folder, go to "\natives\stm\product\model\esf" and delete folders of characters you don't want.
3. Return to the root of the mod's folder and open "modinfo.ini" with text editor. (It should be mostly included) Change the name to anything you like. The image file is for visual only so you can delete it or overwrite with an image you want.

*I added images for missing characters
結局のところ、ほかのMODを導入しているとかぶったりするので、どこまでいっても問題が残るという結論です。
なのでとりあえず全キャラのファイルをまとめて、後は個々で好きなスロット、不要なキャラは削除してねというスタンスです。

are you able to explain how I can enter the file?
