Nautilus and SMLHelper are incompatible and cause up to and including save corruption when installed together.
(Not every time but enough to be worrying)
So I have made the decision that any mod of mine that uses Nautilus will not load when SMLHelper is installed.

Also Nautilus is the Replacement for SMLHelper and when Nautilus 1.0.1 releases we will be removing SMLHelper support for 2.0 completely meaning all mod makers need to update their mods to Nautilus.

Heya, I have a fix for this. If you learn the basics of DLL or Hex Editing, you can remove that stupid "incompatibility" <3
I can help if you want, I have discord!

hey can you help me fix this aswell
    6. smlhelper is basically unsupported at this point. its outdated and it has a better replacement. smlhelper causes issues with nautilus so no, it will not be updated to work with smlhelper.

can you add more config settings like fragment multiplier because I'm getting to much of the same fragments in every biome like an abundance of prawn suit fragments or stasis rifle fragments etc. so its not spawning other fragments I actually need like mobile vehicle bay fragments, laser cutter fragments etc. (I play with the subnautica randomizer mod so it makes finding fragments I actually need impossible) Edit: I dealt with it for now by figuring out how to config this, but I do recommend a way to turn off fragment multipliers so others don't have to go through the painstaking process of figuring out how to config this lol. Thanks for Reading

Please explain to me, how to configure this mod now? I don't see any configuration settings for this mod. Unfortunately, I don’t know how to edit the .dll file itself.

i dont know if this mod causing this, but when i played game with 5x multiplier everything was good, but when i started new save with 10x, when i saved my game in non active lava zone, when i load my save the game is running in 10 fps or even lower. On some sites, people say when you collect more and more resources - lower and lower FPS gets. I'll try again with 5x to see the difference and will update this post (1 or 2 days)

resource multiplier applies to fragments aswell.

you can up the multiplier if you want to see more fragments (or other resources) around, don't go overboard though, you may never be able to go back to vanilla

would it be possible to have separate multiplier options for ingredients and creatures? i don't wanna be surrounded by ingredients, but i do want the ocean to be populated by a lot more fishes than in the vanilla game and adding every single ingredient/creature into the .json file is a lot of work.

I got an error that says: could not load because it is incompatible with: com.ahk1221.smlhelper
This is happening with all of your latest mods updates 09/11/2023.

    I am doing something wrong?

Nautilus is now incompatible with SML Helper.  All of MrPurple's mods have Nautilus as a hard dependency.

Interesting mod.  One thing I've noted is when I've used it at high multipliers, I started seeing swarms of nuisance critters like lava larvae.  I've since:

    • added all the various raw resources (individual and drillable) into the whitelist section
    • added all the various obnoxious spawns (biters, larvae, mesmers, and so on) into the blacklist

I'm curious what the intended interactions of the whitelist and blacklists are. My working assumption is:

    • Whitelist, no blacklist:  only whitelist gets the multiplier, as pertinent
    • Blacklist, no whitelist: everything gets the multiplier as pertinent, except for the black list

When there's both, which behavior does it default to - case one or case two above?
