I was excited to try this, but every time I spawn with the mod on, it spawns me in the sky, and deals repeated glitchy fall damage until I jump out or die. Is there a way to fix this? I've tried like 6 times.
can you make it so i can type the position in instead of using a slider, i wanna go back to a position i spawned at before but its under 80 so its impossible to set the position to. the smallest number i can get with the slider is 80.40
well that's the point lol you just jettisoned from the crashing Aurora and are falling on the planet. the only issue is the stuttering that hopefully will get fixed eventually because that didn't happen with the legacy version.
OMG FINALLY!!! just when i finished testing Return of the Ancients mod and went to play Indiana Jones this mod finally got an update and i missed it lol now i'm off to Deathrun mod to request to have lifepod settings turned off there so the two mods can work together.
there is an issue when standing on the lifepod with the fall not being smooth, meaning it's jittery. i tried taking out all other mods but it persists. it didn't use to be like that, the falling was smooth and not janky. know what i mean? can this be ironed out?
I noticed that in testing as well. The lifepod falling is using the game's default physics so I'm not sure what changed unless one of the (very many) updates to the game made some adjustments that I wasn't aware of. I'm not really planning on returning to modding or anything, just updated this by popular request while I was sick and stuck at home lol. As always, I'm happy for anyone that wants to improve the mod to do so!
thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you. i have been waiting so long for this mod to get updated. wish the person who did the habitat platform would update that as well.
idk if someone will, only the author can make the 2.0 version or else it would be copyright. i dont think hes making a 2.0 version, the only thing you can do is figure out how to put it in legacy (since that works)
Do you know how copyright works? Just because somebody makes something doesn't mean it's copyrighted. And you can't copyright a mod because it's fan content for a game that they didn't make. And it wouldn't be copyright, it would be copyright infringement.
i know there's a randomizer mod that has this option, but this mod focused only on lifepod placement and you could have it randomized each and every time a new save was made or pick where you wanted to fall. on top of that the ability to climb out of the falling lifepod and watch where you'll end up was exciting and terrifying at the same time as you plummeted down knowing you were in for a rough ride.
PLEASE bring this mod back.
edit: i just had my yearly scare as i turned around and my pod was dropping right by the right engine side of the Aurora and with a heavy option enabled sunk right down to the sand. i absolutely adore this mod and after replaying Subnautica with the randomizer mod for the 2.0 update and now going back again to Legacy i cannot stress how much i want this mod in 2.0. although randomizer mod is great for other things this mod is perfect for this one thing which it does incredibly well. it's such a shame it's relegated to Legacy branch only.
