is the storage module part of this mod if it is i have one on my seamoth and it wont let me open it i tried using the cyclops to get in it but still wont work any help would be great
I get a warning a few minutes after creating them.
[Warning: Nautilus] Cannot add Crafting node: SeamothDepthModuleMK4 as it is being added to Root that contains Tab nodes. VanillaWorkbench, ModdedWorkbench, Storage, advancedmetal [Warning: Nautilus] Adding to Fallback Modded node in tree root. [Warning: Nautilus] Cannot add Crafting node: SeamothDepthModuleMK5 as it is being added to Root that contains Tab nodes. VanillaWorkbench, ModdedWorkbench, Storage, advancedmetal
It has been a while and starting a new game. I have been testing the new mods for 2.0 using Nautilus without SMLHelper before I begin a full play-through. It appears this mod has a compatibility issue with Nautilus. The game made them MK 4 & 5 with no problem but this warning popped up so I'm not sure what this means or if it may cause further problems down the road. I get the same issue using a similar mod by MrPurple6411 ... https://www.nexusmods.com/subnautica/mods/1135?tab=posts&BH=0
I"m running into the same. I have the recipe in my PDA, but I can't find anywhere to craft it (not the vehicle console, mod station, fabricator, or even cyclops)
[Error : Nautilus] Cannot Crafting node: SeamothDepthModuleMK4 as it is being added to Root that contains Tab nodes. [Error : Nautilus] Cannot Crafting node: SeamothDepthModuleMK5 as it is being added to Root that contains Tab nodes.
Looks related to a reorg of the crafting menu in 2.0
You are probably using the Organized Workbench mod. I fixed this issue by modifying the source code and changing how the item is added to the workbench. This means the mod dev would need to create a patch or something for this.
In my game, I finally found out why I couldn't find it.
It was because of a different mod, the Mega O2 Tank. I don't know if the issue is because of the item it added or the fact it rearranges the fab options in the modification station. If I don't have the mod, the station just shows all modification blueprints at once. But when I have the mod, the station separates them to tools/equipment/modules. Which is nice, but doesn't play well with other mods... like the seamoth depth mod or stealth mod. The stealth mod does show up, but ungrouped (tools/equipment/modules/stealth mk1/stealth mk2/stealth mk3).
I don't know if the maker of the depth mod can make it so it gets grouped, but I think at least if they look into the stealth mod, the might be able to make it show up.
^ For more recent context, the comment above is related to the old SMLHelper version of Mega O2 Tank. The current release of Mega O2 Tank utilizes it's own custom workbench and has no affect on the vanilla workbench anymore, Seaglide Upgrades also was updated to use the custom workbench
TL;DR: The latest versions of MegaO2Tank & SeaglideUpgrades utilize a custom workbench and no longer touch the vanilla workbench at all
OK, good point. Plenty. I just did a clean install, and it appears to be working. I will go and reinstall the other mods one by one and see if I can figure out where the conflict is.
EDIT: It appears my issue was a conflict with the Seamoth energy shield. When I tried to reinstall it it didn't work but this mod kept working this time, (probably because it was installed first). Hard to tell really but with this going in first and then adding other mods it was OK.
I thought I'd let you know that this mod breaks due to compatibility issue with any mod that tweaks the tabs in the modification station like seaglide upgrade (or in my case, the lithium batteries). Would it be possible to fix that issue and make it compatible with other mods? Thanks a lot :)
