De-Extinction has been ported to Living Large / 2.0!!! The legacy version is still available for download in the “old files” section.
If you still have a problem with fish duplicating/spawning in large numbers: Follow this process to clear the largest CellsCache files. This will not damage your save file but MAY destroy "mod structures" and will reset spawns in small areas. 1. Go to your Savegame folder (...Subnautica\SNAppData\SavedGames\slotXXXX). 2. Open the "CellsCache" folder. 3. Sort by file size, descending. 4. Delete the largest `baked-batch-cells` files, especially ones over 900KB in size. 5. Load the save and the area should be cleared.
Hey, a request: I was pretty bummed when I couldn't put Jelly Spinners in an aquarium as fun decorative pets, could you update this mod to make it possible to keep the smaller DeExtinction critters (Spinners, Pinchers, etc) in the Aquarium? Obviously they can be dropped in Alien Containment but that's not what I'm after.
That's odd, I just tested and it works for me with all pickupable fish. Try updating your ECC Library and Nautilus maybe? There was an old bug with that, but it was fixed.
Started a new game with the latest version, no fire spawning in the drop pod, almost no fish spawting, sulfur not spawning etc. Game not saving or exiting properly. Removed this mod from the plugins folder, then everything works fine. Something's not right.
I think what he means is that there are some cases where there is a big FPS drop. I've noticed a pattern where this happens most often in the club bush area and some parts of the kelp forest. Especially when there are a lot of new creatures spawning, and I think the twisty eels are especially prone to this, especially when there are a lot of them. At least from what I've observed, I think that's the case.
Is it possible to have one world with this mod and one without it? i dont want to mod my main world but would like to play a challang with this beutiful mod
What do you mean by ''disable the mod before loading in''? Should i disable the mod ingame or in my files? also do u mean before loading into the game or into the world? Sry for the inconvenience.
Are gulper babies raised in the ACU supposed to be hostile to the player after being released? All of mine have become hostile in my current game when they didn't previously do this in an older save.
Watching 6 of them murder a bloop was pretty great, though

For any other problems, go to the Subnautica modding server.
Also, there is a $200 bounty for whoever can figure out the duplicate spawning issue.
